Is the task running on the CPU or GPU? If the latter, there is no graphics application for GPUs. If the former, is the selected workunit currently running?

The name of the application crunching the workunit indicates ATI or NVIDIA if it is a GPU application. For example mine currently read "SETI@home v8 8.22 (opencl_ati5_SoG_nocal)" and "SETI@home v8 8.22 (opencl_ati_nocal)" for my GPU applications in the Application column in BOINC Manager.

You have 24 tasks showing in your account as of right now. Your Core i5 560 doesn't have 24 threads so it isn't possible that all tasks are running (though you may only be showing running tasks in your BOINC manager view).

Beyond the basics I've posted, I'm afraid I can't help further. Hopefully someone who is more familiar with Linux might chime in to help.

Neither of Dan's computers is showing a GPU, so everything will be running on the CPU. I'm not certain that the stock Linux CPU application has graphics elements in the build, so it may be he's on to a hiding for nothing in trying to get (SETI) graphics. The maximum number of concurrent running tasks, as opposed to those waiting to start, or having been suspended., is four.

It is the same Computer. I erased Windows 10 because it kept bring my computer down. And replaced it with Linux Mint. I had a Boinc screen saver (Win 10)--it disappeared under Mint. The Boinc show graphics button (worked under Win 10) stopped working under mint. I am puzzled why it happened.

SETI has allocated your computer a new identity when you changed operating system from Windows to Linux. Thus it appears to be another "box of tricks".
Further digging last night indicates it is highly probable that there is no graphics built into the Linux application, thus although the button exists on you (web) interface there is really nothing behind it to display them.
