Right or wrong? "The Suicide Act 1961, which lays out the law on assisted dying, is incompatible with Article eight of the European Convention on Human Rights, which relates to respect for private and family life, and Article 14, which protects from discrimination." Hmm, Article 8 respects private & family life. What about the life of a family that has a member dying? Doesn't that family member have the right to die with dignity & not prolong life un-necessarily by the use of drugs/machines which does nothing to improve that member's condition aside from keeping them breathing & prolong the family's heartbreak? |

Right or wrong? For once I agree... If I had to go on life support to stay alive and there was nothing that medical/science/technology could do to remove the need for life support, I would ask that they pull the plug. Period.
