Darwinites got an early wake up call this morning. Magnitude 6.0 earthquake near Banda Sea felt in Darwin. Residents in Darwin have once again been rocked awake by a magnitude 6.0 earthquake on Wednesday morning.Cheers. |

It depends on what ground you have under you and/or how far away you are from the epicenter. I felt the 7.1 Ridgecrest CA earthquake, but that is 69.03 miles from where I live at in Yermo CA according to this site here. If that whopper had been closer a lot of places here would be on the ground, my home has an earthquake resistant foundation system under it that the county said I needed, best money I ever spent... Seems that the top end had a quiver. Darwin hit with by 6.2 magnitude earthquake. Darwin has felt the effects of a 6.2 magnitude earthquake which caused buildings across the capital city to shake.Cheers. |
