Hello,

I downloaded BOINC package from the Software Manager in Mint, and it downloaded and ran great. Then, it just stopped responding or doing anything. Would not open. Uninstall/reinstall did nothing. As I used to do in Windows with such problems, I would hand edit the registry to cut out the offending entries. I tried to manually remove all the BOINC folders I could but bin wouldn't let me cut any. And, reboot, reinstall and it is still nowhere to be found and not responding.

Very strange

Any ideas for someone who is not a Linux deity?

and 1,592 Classic SETI!

never mind. Got it going by using the sudo boincmgr command in terminal

and 1,592 Classic SETI!
