I will probably be around when the first nuke device in war explodes:( Correct. My mistake. Which reminds me of a other documentary where a person first survived Hiroshima and managed to escape to Nagasaki. When he reported back to his boss in Nagasaki after the Hiroshima bombing the second bomb came! |

Nobody here has mentioned the elephant in the room. The winter olympics are due to start in February in South Korea. Seems to me if Kim wants to hold the world hostage that would be the time to make a stupid move. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. Expect a biological attack, something that every visitor takes back to their country and spreads it around. Say a week incubation and he spreads it on the last couple days. Kim has more than Nukes in his WMD arsenal. |

Just how many from his country are going? Ask yourself why? Or are the few he lets out, infected, people he knows will defect? Remember his border is hermetic, both senses. |

Remember Kim has no regard for even his own countrymen's lives. And I'm sure there will be a North Korean athletic team at the olympics. Also one of the biggest teams will be from the good ole' USA. But even if such a scenario is likely what can be done? The olympics won't be cancelled. I hope this is just wild musing we are doing here and nothing so terrible is going to happen. There is a chance Kim will not send a team. PyeongChang Olympic organizers happy to see first North Koreans qualify for 2018 Games https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2017/09/30/pyeongchang-olympic-organizers-happy-to-see-first-north-koreans-qualify-for-2018-games/?utm_term=.9951941d5667 Wild musings, some other country/Daesh/bad guys could trigger the war. WM; Kim likes his high life style and has to know he would not survive a war. He can finally make it costly to attack him now and he is letting the world know that. ... |

Slightly different school books in NK, which include, among other things, math examples of how schoolchildren shoot at American imperialists and the number of jailed Japanese. From how first graders are taught math. In a battle the soldiers of the People's Army killed 374 heinous US imperialists. |

Only need an incident similar to Munich 72. Instead of hitting Israeli athletes, hit NK's. That's sure to make Ping Pong II rage that it was all a Yankee plot. |

I would not put it past Ding Dong Bell to stage a 'Munich' style attack on his own team and then blame the US............ "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

•North Korea warns its 'hand is on the trigger' and is prepared to launch 'a salvo of missiles' at US territory Guam• If he has the capability of doing that then we (the world) have truly waited too long to take action. I remember that before the Gulf war all the "experts" were claiming that Iraq's army would slaughter any invading army that tried to topple Sadam. I still have the issue of Time magazine that preceded "operation desert storm" showing thousands of body bags that were being loaded for the trip to the middle east and several articles claiming any such actions would lead to a world disaster. •Congress was warned Thursday that North Korea is capable of attacking the U.S. today with a nuclear EMP bomb that could indefinitely shut down the electric power grid and kill 90 percent of "all Americans" within a year.• And the lip service continues in the hallowed halls of congress.......all talk and as usual no concrete action. Scientists have known and warned about the effects of EMP on unhardened electric systems and devices since the Carrigan Event in 1859 burned down several telegraph offices due to induced power overload. NOTHING has been done to correct this weakness by any administration or agency in 160 years. And so now we set our hair on fire because of a tin pot punk with a nuke. IMHO Buy a METAL garbage can, place all of the devices you wish to protect(smartphones, tablets, laptops, replacement electric components for your automobile and emergency generator) inside. This is called 'hardening' as the can creates a Faraday Cage effect around the contents. Also store a year's worth of supplies, food, water, and what ever else you consider necessary for existence. US Military electronics are hardened against EMP so the effect on those systems would be minimal insuring total and complete destruction of DPRK in retaliation. Otherwise we are basically screwed which raises the ante for a preemptive strike to prevent such carnage. However I seriously question the statement that and EMP would kill 90 percent of "all Americans" within a year.". I think we are more resilient and tougher than that. A much higher percentage would survive, and DPRK will have ceased to exist in this mortal plane. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

So yes the 90% is BS intended to scare you so his investments in defense contractors make more money. |
