No second TV? A good few post ago you said you had one but it didn't have all the "fancy bits" you wanted so I suggested a couple of solutions that would solve that problem and cost far less than the rare parts for the Samsung.

Oh so you don't like Me saying something, parts go out stock, even new ones do, you can't hold that against Me, you hate losing, but then you already have...

We have something here in the US, it's called a written Constitution...

I'm confused.....
I thought you'd just acquired a functioning 55" tv. But now you appear to be canabilising it to get a "broken" one working. Or have I missed something?

The heatsink is from a TCL 55US57 TV, I don't own a 55US57 TV, I own a fully working and factory refurbished TCL 55S401 TV, so yeah you missed something.

As ever Vic as zoon as anyone shows you something you've already declared that does not sit well with your currently desired status you throw in lots of stray things.
Personally I don't are that the parts are unavailable, it is you that is making a big thing of that situation
You moan about "keyed" connectors, they only require a little understanding and care to undo, your moaning just demonstrates the lack of one of those.

Yes, our dear Vic is a master of misdirection.
But, Vic is gonna do what Vic is gonna do, so there is little point in chastising him about it.

And you're whining here, so there.
The 55US57 board is My concern, and I did get it for less than the seller wanted, about 20-25% less.
I'm posting, I can if I want, don't like that? Too bad, so sad...

I can spend as I see fit, you and others don't get a say in that, meaning I don't need to get anyones approval to do so.
Sure you can mouth off here, within limits, but so could a dog, if it could type.

Oh and I fixed your spelling errors for you rob, must have been in a hurry I guess.

Id like to know how much the Saga TV cost and how much money you have invested in the random replacement of parts so far?

About $80.00 total, which includes the labor of testing the psu board.

People just cause they can post here, does not give them the right to tell Me what I can and can not do.

Before I bought the psu the red led on the tv would not light up, afterwards it does, but of course some don't like seeing Me succeed, so it's put downs and shaming, which is wrong, and I totally reject that, don't like that?

Take a hike...

Vic your paranoids are showing. I think all would like to see you succeed but most all would have taken a different path.

Look this far from civilization, the only place for the Samsung would be the trash bin, it does not deserve this, I'd rather it be working, so with the leds, if one source does not get back to Me by March, then it will be the ones on ebay.

Supply and demand, since it is My bank account, it is mine to control as I see fit to do.

Most of them are by now, but why do you keep wasting $'s on what was just crap to start with Vic (it's just like those poor performing power hungry GTX580's you bought, not mentioning the water cooling parts for them) and I'm over 2hrs away from any sort of place that others would call anywhere near real civilisation.

Cheers.

Well that will change asap Wiggo, but I have to wait for a check to come in from the Liheap program, and for February to get here, and the last post was about the TV, not a 1070 Ti.

So your going to spend Your Liheap money on parts that you have no clue that will work, And not its intended purpose for those funds? Sure sounds like a case of fraud to me.
Of the many cases where familys need those funds, Your going to piss it away on a broken ass SAGA TV.
If I had a phone number to report you to the governing bodies, I would in a heart beat.

No I'm getting a 1070 Ti card, but then you are probably confused.

Fraud?

BS, do you even know what a sub meter is?

Of course not, typical jumping to conclusions, the park has an SCE account, I have an account with the park, but then you've never lived in a mobile home park, just in a stick built home.

The check is to be deposited to My bank account, as reimbursement for My electrical expenses, so how is that fraud?

Think hard on that.

Since it's reimbursement, it's not fraud, and is mine to use, it will make My PC more energy efficient, and that's a good thing.

It's a grant, so no fraud... https://www.acf.hhs.gov/ocs/programs/liheap

Oh and every month or so, I get $5 from bing.com to use on Amazon, that is not fraud either, people in mobile parks get a check directly from Liheap as a grant, grants are not something that needs to be paid back, though one does not apply directly, a 3rd party takes and processes the info, then a check is cut, the 3rd party does not send the checks, ever.

Some people just love to jump to conclusions about fraud, waste, and abuse, by poor people, but not of the rich or corporations...

One year I got about $403.00, but then there was more than $3.03 Billion in funds available.

@ James Sotherden: I guess you don't get it, if I didn't live in a mobile home park, I'd just get a credit on My electric bill, anyone who qualifies can get this, it's once a year only, no more, no less, I was told to apply for this by the SSA, so I don't see any fraud, since the check has to be deposited into a checking account, and it is on an energy improvement, same as a window...

And double dipping does not apply, or I would not in another state be able to get SNAP benefits either.

But go ahead and call that number in My last post.
