If I were in good enough physical shape I could as a home owner of record, replace the breakers Myself, I do know the difference, between a Hot wire, Neutral/Ground, Hot here is the one the voltage comes in on, when the main breaker is off, power is isolated from the breakers bus bar, then it's a matter of taking the old breakers out and replacing them with new ones, but I would leave that to a licensed electrician, a contractor, cause I'm physically not up to that anymore. I have done electrical work on My own homes in the past, they have held up to inspection, I would not hire Myself out as a contractor, nor should I, I am competent enough to know My limits, where I don't know something, I'd rather hire someone who does, and is a licensed electrical or other type of contractor, like in plumbing, though I have done some simple things, I'm just well read. I even reroofed a freestanding garage made of 2"x3" lumber once, that's 2"x3" rough cut lumber, when I was 20yrs old, from what I do know, that garage may not have ever been reroofed since then...

This has gone beyond a local issue with one person, this impinges on University policy.

Please point to the policy that is effected.

Now in 24 hours, after holding each of the 3 rubber feet down for 45 seconds, should be bonded to the glass by Gorilla Super Glue(Blue tip), for the moment the TV stand is sitting upside down, then at 10:22am or there after I can turn the tv stand upright, since there are now 6 rubber feet on the glass.

Mr Mercer asks a very sencible question.
The answer depends on a number of things. Obviously the number of circuits, number of fixed fittings, age of installation. Then there is the visual condition of the installation.
Using a decent installation tester and assuming a good visual inspection a place like Vic's would take me a couple of hours or so. But if problems are found that estimate goes up rapidly.

Inspection of My place is a moot question, since it is not going to happen, unless someone else pays for it, it wouldn't find much, if anything that I didn't already know about already, and I own My place, not the park, the park as a whole has places here that are older than My place, the white/tan place next door was condemned, then uncondemned by the park after any state officials were gone, 13 were like that, now only 1 or 2 are still condemned. One place that a friend and family live in has an exterior wall section that has something other than the siding of a double wide mobile home in place, it's what one would find as skirting beneath a home, vents and all, plus a door that is not as tall as either door on My place, you'd have to duck to go in and out, and the place is OLD, rents were raised once, the money went in someones pocket is the thought around here, if rents were raised again, the park would die, since the very last tenants would leave, only the residents would be left, our places are too old to be accepted in any other park, mine is too narrow by state law(revised after I bought My place in 2006, so My place can not go on its own land, people who have homes built on site were responsible for this, in which case My place is a worthless park model now, and I was not compensated for this loss by the state of California. I think there are about 20-30 places that are occupied in the park, and one burned out hulk to be demolished, after the current one the park is tearing down finally gets demolished, and that one has taken months to do, and the demo is not close to being done yet, maybe in another year the demo will be done on the current place that is being demoed.

Rant mode on...

One question is why do some people assume that everyone is able bodied? Not everyone can work, I'm not lazy, which is spouted mainly those who are either bigoted or somewhat ignorant, no offense meant, just a statement, I don't think anyone here is bigoted, at least I hope not, if I were lazy I would not have done anything, the stand I bought would not have had the 3 loose feet glued on with Super Glue, right now I'm coughing and trying not to sweat, yet some think I should get a job, I expect that crap from some stupid Americans, like some of My distant French cousins might say, and from what I've read in the past they have said, but from outside America? I can even expect that from trump, but that goes without saying...

http://apps.npr.org/unfit-for-work/ And this is just a sample, some accuse people of getting generous checks, I'd hardly call the max SSI gives out every month as Generous, $895.72 a month in 2017, in 2018 this becomes $909.72 I think, I won't know the exact amount for about a month or so, America does have a problem, people are getting older and sicker, I have My last will made out, that's how bad it is, all I get is Medi-Cal(Medicaid outside California), Denti-Cal, and prescriptions for glasses from Vison-Cal, just the prescription, not the glasses, though the ground work for restoring that is laid for 2020 full funding of Vision-Cal, which means I'll be able to get some new prescription eyeglasses, without spending a kings ransom, at first such an idea made sense, then the prices of frames and lenses skyrocketed back in 2009, and here We are in 2017, part of the SSP part of SSI in CA was cut in 2009(SSP is the State Supplemental Payment), I went from $907.00 for 2 months on May 1st 2009 to $870.00 a month for the rest of 2009, the SSP for years from May 2009 stayed at $156.40, and was raised one time to $160.72 a month. I'll be able to get My teeth worked on in 2018. For the second time I had to dig around in My pants pocket for the right lense, it had popped out, yes I put it back in the frame. Some also think people who get SSI are leaches, and thieves, neither is true, though narrow minded people thin k it would be cheaper, just house them in prison, make them work, that's called Forced Labor, Arbeit Macht Frei, sound familiar? It should, it means "Work Makes you Free", it was above the gates to a forced labor camp where people were worked as slaves, to death by the Nazi's, that's how they made all the Me-262 jets, V1 and V2 rockets, etc, etc, etc...

I still can't get SNAP(CalFresh) cause of a state policy known as Cash Out, which has been in place since 1974, unchanged, $10.00 a month is given out in lieu of SNAP benefits, the state average in 2017 is $135.99 a month, I know of one person who last I looked was homeless, He was an ex-con, He got $160.00 a month, so don't tell Me people who get SSI in CA wouldn't get anything more than $10.00, that's called shaming people, and a lie, no SSI recipient in California has ever gotten SNAP(CalFresh), ever, at one time the reason was the cost to administer, thanks to computers that cost is $0.00 or very close to zero to administer... $10.00 is a ripoff, but then like I said cheapskates run the state of California. I should be getting SNAP like in the other 49 states, but if one gets SSI in California one gets $10.00 in State Money, not in Federal Money, all California has to do is abolish said policy, and do what the USDA wants, as the USDA does with the other 49 States...

And yes some who do work get SNAP, though when wages rise that is supposed to taper off.

Right now My right side is hurting some, that's part of one of My two Hernia's, one is in My left ribcage, the other is My stomach and possibly part of My intestines being above My diaphragm, I've had this problem I was told since I was 3 years old, it's not from excessive lifting, 3 year olds do not lift much, it has never been corrected, I'm told to take antacids...

The federal government spends more money each year on cash payments for disabled former workers than it spends on food stamps and welfare combined. Yet people relying on disability payments are often overlooked in discussions of the social safety net. The vast majority of people on federal disability do not work.[1] Yet because they are not technically part of the labor force, they are not counted among the unemployed.

In other words, people on disability don't show up in any of the places we usually look to see how the economy is doing. But the story of these programs -- who goes on them, and why, and what happens after that -- is, to a large extent, the story of the U.S. economy. It's the story not only of an aging workforce, but also of a hidden, increasingly expensive safety net.

For the past six months, I've been reporting on the growth of federal disability programs. I've been trying to understand what disability means for American workers, and, more broadly, what it means for poor people in America nearly 20 years after we ended welfare as we knew it. Here's what I found.

There's no diagnosis called disability. You don't go to the doctor and the doctor says, "We've run the tests and it looks like you have disability." It's squishy enough that you can end up with one person with high blood pressure who is labeled disabled and another who is not.

I talked to lots of people in Hale County who were on disability. Sometimes, the disability seemed unambiguous.

"I was in a 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo," Dane Mitchell, a 23-year-old guy I met in a coffee shop, told me. "I flipped it both ways, flew 165 feet from the Jeep, going through 12 to 14,000 volts of electrical lines. Then I landed into a briar patch. I broke all five of my right toes, my right hip, seven of my vertebrae, shattering one, breaking a right rib, punctured my lung, and then I cracked my neck."

Other stories seemed less clear. I sat with lots of women in Hale County who told me how their backs kept them up at night and made it hard for them to stand on the job. "I used to cry to try to work," one woman told me. "It was so painful."

People don't seem to be faking this pain, but it gets confusing. I have back pain. My editor has a herniated disc, and he works harder than anyone I know. There must be millions of people with asthma and diabetes who go to work every day. Who gets to decide whether, say, back pain makes someone disabled?

As far as the federal government is concerned, you're disabled if you have a medical condition that makes it impossible to work. In practice, it's a judgment call made in doctors' offices and courtrooms around the country. The health problems where there is most latitude for judgment -- back pain, mental illness -- are among the fastest growing causes of disability.

I fed Grace her dry food, She simply will not eat any of Her 19 cans of Fancy Feast, Chicken Feast in Gravy, Marinated Morsels, these are 3oz cans, the last can She ate was Chicken Feast, Chunky, which sometimes shows up with the other Chicken variety, no one around here sells what She likes, outside of the dry food, and I wonder how long it will be before She tires of that?

All Her food is by Purina, Naturals, original formula for Her dry food. Amazon does sell the Chicken feast, Chunky. Maybe I'll get Her that next month, $12.48 or about $0.52 a can, less than Food4Less sells Fancy Feast, by about $0.05-$0.10 a can.

Look I am not able bodied, Ok?

There is a difference, the SSA knows My physical and mental condition intimately, you do not, and then say out of ignorance, what amounts to "get a job". I live in a manufactured home that I own since late 2006, and own a car, both are mine, I owe nothing on either one. Before late 2006, I'd be lucky if I had $50.00 a month extra, I had no credit cards or anything.

Not everyone can work, to say that I should get a job, speaks of Ableism to Me, and ignorance too.

I can't stand for long, I can walk with difficulty, I use a cane to help go up and down steps, I use a mart cart at the store, I have 3 dislocations, hips and right shoulder, Osteo Arthritis since I was at least 40, I have bad ankles from surgery and from a fall, I have 3 titanium screws in My lower left leg, cause in 2002 I broke that leg, and dislocated both hips, damaged both knees and My right ankle, the left was twisted to the left and right to install those 3 screws, I took several months to heal up, My life was ruined, since it was a for profit hospital that did the deed, and tried to make Me pay $16,000.00, and would not let Me go to another Hospital, I was lied to and the nurse said I'd be allowed to call My brother as soon as I signed on the dotted line for who would pay, She let the pain of My broken leg resurface, I was strapped to a gurney, it's called torture for a reason, I did sign under protest, then I was whisked into surgery for 2 hours, I never paid, how could I? I had no income until 2003, I got SSI, I've lived on My own since July 2004, they only accept their own insurance, not even My brother wanted to go there He said, He had Tricare(Retired USN) and that sorry excuse for a Hospital would not honor that, He's been gone since 2005, dead, He died 2 weeks after I last saw him, cancer and emphysema, and I have the scars on My left ankle on both sides to prove it too(gorey enough for you?), they can be painful, if I use My right ankle too much, the right ankle almost locks up, I'm 6'1" tall, have lower back pain, severe anxiety, concentration problems, which is short term memory, I was coming home from a trip, I should have taken the 60E, instead I took the 71S looking for a non existent 60N, I had to get off the 71, and find the 60E on ramp to get home, I wasted 3 miles of gas I think, I have part of My stomach above My diaphragm since I was 3yrs old, it's that thing that allows one to breathe, so I tire easy now that I'm older than 50, bad eyesight, at least My prostate surgery went alright, no cancer, I have not worked since about 1992, I'm 57 now, I weigh 414lbs currently, oh and all this is reality and is backed by an MRI, a Cat scan, X-rays, and no lawyers or attorneys were used in getting a meager check.

I'm not lazy, nor stupid...

The only female friend is the wife of a guy down the road, Her name is Maryann, and She is older than Me, Her husband James also has a useless arm, calls Me brother from time to time, both are Indigenous Americans, they don't have a working car, so since I do, they pay for gas, I just drive, nothing wrong there, but if one has a suspicious mind, that is the truth Dull.

I can only fit in a coupe, not a sedan. So Uber or Lyft are out.

And I just took 2 more 8hr tylenol pills, My thyroid used to only output @ 90%, now the output is @ 100%, the Tylenol helps keep Me from sweating too much, once a day I take pills for high blood pressure, vitamin C, and 2 other prescriptions. I could be said to be melting... currently I have some congestion from a cold that I had in October, plus I have a minor problem with asthma, mainly with cold foods or just being cold, I like any soda without ice, at room temp if possible. The gas furnace won't come on right now, it's too warm, setting is at 79F, temp last I looked is at 82F in here, I just got up from a nap, the angle helped Me, having a painful gut on the right is no fun, I've got to get an Asus Strix 1060 one of these days, and ditch the extra weight in this PC's case from the PNY LC 580 card, not to mention heat output, which at one time I had no problem with, now I know why My dad liked it very warm, and He was in His mid 70's, last time I saw Him alive...

I'm a amputee and my " good " leg is held together with titanium screws in my hip and a titanium rod holding my femur together , I've got the x-rays and people have seen them who post here .
I work for myself designing and then fabricating access ramps for people's houses ( cutting , welding etc you know the " dirty PROPER " sort of engineering ! ) and have been working for myself coming up for 3 years in May .
ANY disability is only a problem WHEN you let it become one , there's ways you can work round things like I do . Ohh and I didn't get any help / grants etc to start up on my own from any authority / government did it all off my own back and did it just to see if I could , but the best thing is I ain't relying on benefits and feel sh#teloads happier in meself .
You DON'T know unless you try !!!
Life is what you make of it :-)

When i'm good i'm very good , but when i'm bad i'm shi#eloads better ;-) In't I " buttercups " p.m.s.l at authoritie !!;-)

Gary, please stop. I don't even own a wheelchair, much less an electric one.

Not everyone can work. I don't have the endurance, plus I'm forgetful, why do you think I edit My posts here?

I've never done anything like the jobs listed and I have not worked since about 1992, and I'm 57.

I sure can't do manual labor, and GM or an Assistant GM? Not qualified, lack of schooling and experience.

I guess to you lower back pain is not real, I take 8hr tylenol, 3 times a day, and where's your MD license or Nursing Degree???

You could go work there

I'm physically disabled, so no I could not, the SSA said I'm not able bodied in 2003, this has not changed since then.

It doesn't matter what the SSA says, it matters what you can or can't do.

You won't let any of us tell you what to do, so why do you let them?

Look I am not able bodied, Ok?

Unless you ask you don't know if they have a job that can be done from a wheelchair.

Gary, please stop.
If you don't want to work, fine, but stop looking at and posting jobs because when you do you make it seem as if you want work.

I was trying to help a place out, that's all.
