Try ditching the fake 8 cores in your bios and run it as the 4 core that it actually is.
It's a 3.7Ghz processor, not too shabby at all.
See if that helps things at all.

Make sure it is running at 3.7Ghz and not being throttled by anything.

Does the memory tab show the RAM running at what the SPD indicates it should be?

Today I did enter some numbers in to possibly win the bidding on an MS Xbox One X Console, so far I have 800 points, that's 200 points per bag of specially marked Doritos(Some bags might have more or less), I couldn't find any marked bottles of Mountain Dew, I have another 1800 points for this that I will be entering, for a total of 2600 points, bidding starts on Nov 6th 2017. The numbers are inside the bags, and most likely inside the label on specially marked bottles, the caps have a star in place inside that keeps printing from being done there. I'm hoping around the 1st, that I can gain some more points for this, and I don't know how many points the bottles give.

That could be caused by many things, not just the GPU or driver.
But, check your GPU temp. And if the fan is running at the proper speed.

Afterburner has an auto fan speed adjustment or you can set it manually.

I adjust the fan speed to keep the GPU temp at 70C, which is 47%

35-44C when idle, it crunches at night, I don't remember that.

44C is normal at idle.

I want my kit to last so I adjust my settings to

GPU - 90% load max, 70C max, fan speed as needed.

CPU 50/75% load max, temp 80C max

Monitored by Afterburner, GPUZ, CPUZ, Core temp.

Of course the GPU memory clock is set to minimum, as Seti doesn't use memory speed.

I set the gpu fan, a 120mm fan, at 100%, it's a warm card, current gpu temp 72-74C.


Right now I'm a bit miserable, too much salt intake. I'm drinking something cold, and waiting for some pain pills to take effect, in 8hrs another 2 pills.

Now if anybody here wants to help Me get an Xbox One X Console, the codes can be found printed on the inside of bags of Doritos, or under the White lids of Mountain Dew Soda,
Soda in this case is a 2L bottle, ones with Green lids are worthless, for cans they'd be printed on the cardboard packaging, on the inside next to the cans,
so far I'm up to 2,000 points, I have another 800 points to go below I run out of numbers to bank for this contest, November 6th 2017 is when the bidding begins. The points vary from 50 to 250 points.
