I found another source for a main board, more than ebay, but far less than Samsung, with FREE shipping.

And yes I'll post some pics, plus I usually get something for Xmas from My relatives, yes I do know what it is, but you do not.

And yes thanks to some local friends and My car, I now have 1/2 a tank of gas, and I will get some help from My relatives if I need it to get home.

Since the TV is not broken, and I was sold 2 incompatible mainboards for the TV,
cause the seller thought wrongly that a 46" mainboard would work in a 55" TV,
well Samsung afterwards said they do not.

Does the TV actually work today? If not then it is "broken", in that it needs something doing to get it working. You think that "something" is a new main board. You've previously bought an incorrect main board based on poor advise from a sellar and a website (not the manufacturer). So why not contact the manufacturer to find the correct part number - it is in their interest to provide that info and not have people rant about poor product support. Many manufacturers actually publish the main parts list so the right parts can be ordered. Then of course you have the origional main board in which case you should be able to read the number off that?
As I said some months ago check with the manufacturer for compatibility before you spend another cent.

It will turn on, and if I had the original main board in it, except for the led backlighting not working, which is controlled by the main board, the TV does works.

I already went to Samsung's website, only 3 main boards are compatible, since I've already listed the 3, I won't do that again.

Samsung is the manufacturer.

Sorry Vic I'd missed that. For your sake I do hope that you are able to get a working correct main board and installing it makes the TV work.
Well it remains "broken" because it currently doesn'function correctly when you connect it to the mains and appropriate signal source.

I got back from the Doctor, and from Vons Pharmacy, I weigh 414lbs or 407lbs, I'll split the difference and say 410.5lbs, I still need to go and get some blood work done in Barstow on the 21st, the shortest day in the Northern Hemisphere, and the wind is howling outside. Canes come in handy to prop car doors open against the wind, 41mph West, gusts 52mph.

Today My joints and leg muscles would feel better, but then I had a reason to go outside, and on a windy day, ugh. Grace was happy I'm home, Her food needed adjusting, I tried teaching Her a few times, but She doesn't get it, so She needs My help, from time to time, sigh.

I do know something makes the main boards different, but what I'm not sure, it could be different firmware, to know for sure I'd have to talk to someone at Samsung USA, that's if there is anyone there who does know, and it might be a trade secret, so I'll not worry about it, I just will rely on Samsung saying main boards are not all alike, even if they look alike, the ones I'm watching have a sticker on them that denotes which TV they are for, in this case a UN55D6050TFXZA, there is also a UN55D6050TFXZC too, but I don't have that model, so I won't worry about it. Like so from a BN94-05038G, it says 55D6050TFX, and 424A(My TV psu), the printing could have been done better, but there is nothing anyone can do about that now:

I contacted the CAPSBC for a Liheap application, they emailed Me back that it's now in the mail, I just have to give them copies of what they ask for, and I'll get a LIHEAP Grant in 2018, probably about $343.00 to maybe $350.00.

Being I'm behind a sub meter, I'll get a check to reimburse Me for some of My electricity expenses, I can use this for a newer video card or a new window, but since I don't plan on staying here beyond 2020, I'll put it into an Asus Strix video card instead, a 1070 Ti would be ok, or an Asus 1060 Strix would be ok too, I can spare a few dollars to go along with that, when the check comes sometime in 2018.

If I were not behind a sub meter, I'd just get a credit on My SCE electric bill.

I've already made a plan to do just that in a text file here, starting in February, plus saving up a few thousand, to be complete somewhere between July 2020 and December 2020.

Oh and I still have not gained 30lbs back, at least according to My Doctor, and I was told to keep on doing whatever I am doing, so I will.

As to the LIHEAP, it's been around longer than I've known about it, and I was told to apply for it by the SSA if I could remember to do so, so I will.

If I were capable of earning a living still, I'd still apply if I qualified for the program, where I live at in the Park anyone could apply for the program, all one has to do is qualify, and if I didn't qualify I would not attack someone who was not as fortunate, especially if they have physical problems.

Attacking someone who is less fortunate than thou sounds like Jealousy, it's a sin in at least one religion.
