Digital TV antenna can bring in HD 16:9 1080i, Dolby Digital, Multilingual, CC and ratings. That's the highest I've seen around here. I know a lot of folks that have checked this out and dropped cable. One months of Comcast/Xffinity cable will buys antenna, mast with money left over.

AntennaWeb.org can show you the channels in your area. I've heard Vic mention Barstow so here's channels for there. They get 5 channels.

They say we shall have to buy new TV sets in Italy because a new protocol willl be used to work on different frequencies while today's frequencies will be assigned to cell phones. I have a Samsung LED TV bought in 2014 and I am using it mainly as a monitor for a Windows 10 PC. It is also connected to a Sky decoder. It seems that I shall have to buy a new decoder too, and Sky is already advertising the new decoder.

Vic - you are in the "sub-prime" class for getting a mortgage. Your income is low, your outgoings (excluding the "nice toys in life") are high, you are effectively already living on a very high credit:income ratio (your current total credit line from all sources is greater than your monthly income). And that is ignoring your age and health which may also count against you under the heading of "will this customer be able to pay the repayments over the full term".

I can't get my head around the 2.25 bathrooms in that condo - quite a feat, what bits are missing from the 0.25 one?!!!

Here in the US a .25 “bath” is one extra fixture, usually not housed in a separate room at all. I have one. It's a sink in the entry to the bathroom. It's so you can shave or put on your make up while your partner is in the bath or shower.
