Monday, waiting, for the winds to die down, among other things, there's a TV coming today, by truck...

And I'm getting a $6.11 refund on the TV stand, yay!

All cause 3 out of 6 feet fell off.

Which have since been fixed, a little Gorilla Super Glue blue tip, works wonders.

They do indeed J Mercer.

Now if only the wind would die here, 39mph from the West, gusts to 53mph...

I'm hoping the pilot on My gas furnace won't be blown out, otherwise it could be a cold night here.

I've located 2 Main board to IR sensor board cables, a Used one for $13.89(UN55D6000), and a New other for $15.95(UN55D6005), both use the same Mainboard and IR sensor board as My UN55D6050 TV, and the seller of a DOA mainboard is going to ship a Mainboard to Me as soon as I can pay for the board, and is I think in the meantime equipping the board w/a low profile heatsink on the big chip, all for $44.75 total.

Now the wind is at 45mph, gusts to 60mph, and it's a Dust Storm outside, delivery is supposed to happen between Noon and 5pm.

And I hope the furnace gas pilot stays lit too, I looked at the pilot light, so far, so good.

Or at least a backup, in case one fails, but still only 1 hookup to the UHF antenna.

Ok I bought the Like New Samsung UN55D6005 IR Sensor Board Cable for $14.00 for the UN55D6050 TV, and the TCL 55S401 is here, yeah it's huge, glad I didn't go for a 65" TV, Pilot helped get the TV inside too.

By Dec 8th or so, I should have the replacement mainboard bought, the DOA board here was refunded, it's trash.

The Refurbished TCL 55S401 55" 4K TV is here, I decided I'd wait until morning to unwrap this beast, since it was nearly sundown. It was $373.92, delivered.

Then stop bitching about your financial situation. Jeeze a significant factor is your priorities, such as 2 TVs. I can only watch one at a time.

Ok, yawn, I got the 55" TV up on the stand, I should make a couple of adjustments, one to center the TV left to right, and one notch down in height, plus install 2 AAA batteries in the remote, and connect power. Like I said the TV is only 30lbs, it's the bulk more than anything, I do have the original feet, but where I have the TV they are useless, the TV is connected to UHF(quad shielded coax) and to My VHS/DVD player.

And I'm melting, ok who tossed the bucket of water at Me? ;)

The brackets, 4 screws, 4 washers, and a phillips screwdriver, and...

It's up on the stand.

Me too, I just have a down converted HD signal into a sort of SD signal, Dish did that to the county translator, but I still need to fine tune the stand, it's off center, and a bit too high, I at least got 2 AAA batteries in the ROKU/Sling/Netflix/VUDU remote.

No one is allowed to win more than 1 Xbox One X Console online, I do have 700 extra points there after going thru some empty bags of Doritos last night, I missed 2 bags, that got Me another 450 points, in addition to the 250 I had earlier, their online market place is a bit, sparse, when it comes to products...

Ok I got the TCL 55" 4K TV up and running, now I don't have a real HD signal, just a former HD signal that Dish downgraded to SD, that the local UHF TV translator uses, all of 11 of 12 channels.

I did center the TV stand, though I did not lower the TV, I'm exhausted, so when it's daylight I'll see about that.

The TV is updated its software, it's connected to the Net via Cat6 cable.

My phone is just not fast enough to do this TV any sort of justice on a moving picture...

I also lost My Magnavox VHS/DVD remote control, on ebay they're about $14.99, maybe next month, if I don't find it first, I even looked under the sofa, in the kitchen drawers, on My desk, on the sofa, near My DVDs, near the TV, on top of the aquarium, I even looked in My bedroom, I may look in the bedroom again. I'm exhausted...

I saw it this morning, maybe, maybe not, right now it doesn't matter since I don't know what the rent will be like yet, though I'll continue to look.
