Vic, here you go: Xbox One HDMI 1.4 Xbox One S HDMI 2.0 Xbox One X HDMI 2.1 Backwards compatible with HDMI 1.3? Still I'll be waiting, oh in a few months I could buy an Xbox One S for like $199.99 on ebay, in Blue(500GB), or Red(2TB), Black, or ugh White, I'm in no hurry. I'd rather get My tv psu fixed, then have a neighbor help move the TV, it's not the weight, it's bulky, though rather thin, and lots of screws on the metal back plate, plus 5 screws securing the board to the TV, and 2 internal cables to carefully remove and reapply. I did this once by myself, but just barely. Right now I just want to concentrate on maybe winning an Xbox One X Console, I doubt anyone has 50,000 points, cause who could soak up that much soda and chips? So far I have 4750 points, before this is over I should have another 2400-3000 points... If you do want to help in My hunt, here is where the characters are at for each entry, on bags they are on the inside silver foil, boxes of cans on the box inside, bottles under the lid, some have the Xbox logo on the bottles, some don't, bags give more points, and are more agreeable to ones digestion, since I don't know how to store opened Doritos for long, this was meant to make people buy these, very ingenious. The bottle shown gives a clue as to how many characters there are, should be 10 max. 6's look like G for some reason, weird. If you have any characters, and wish to help, PM Me the numbers or pics of the numbers, do not display here, others could be lurking. The walls have eyes... Oh and I have drank Diet MD in a Coca Cola tumbler, I've got 6, bought them on ebay, 1st glasses I've bought in ages, plates I might do, but much later, and then they'd be plain dinner plates. :) Savoir-Faire is everywhere! Vic, Cost of Living increases do not actually increase the relative amount you have to spend. All they are MEANT to do is keep your income at the same rr!lative level it is today. The truth is that all too often they don't even do that and your income drops further behind the average, and thus further from your financial goal. One very sick, sad fact of life :-( As to "signing off" of SB3, I meant the final, full enactment into law howere that is accomplished, then coming into effect with full funding available to be drawn on. By the sound of it that I'd improbable until the end of next year, and more likely 2019 before the funds able to be drawn on by the likes of yourself. I dare say there will loopholes for applicants to jump through, loads of forms to complete, and maybe even "eligibility" checks to be made, all of which take time to complete. Vic, while I hope you win an x-box I have my doubts that your total will be anywhere near enough :-( I say this because families, clubs and organised groups will be taking part and they can muster tens or hundreds of collectors, while you only have a handful of people supporting you. Remember this campaign is a calous marketing ploy by Coke, not a charitable give-away. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

dvi & HDMI both carry sound and vision through a single connector. There are adaptors that allow you to extract the sound component allowing that to be fed to another device, such units are quite commonly used in the a/v industry to send the vision to screens an the sound to the pa. Further there are adaptors that allow a single source to feed multiple devices. I no idea of the prices or sorcrs for them, and being away from him the searches are next to impossible just now. Anybody sitting around stuffing bag after bag of Doritos into their face and washing them down with cases of Mountain Dew in the hopes of winning the xbox are all on a fool's errand. Kinda like the Publisher's Clearing House scam of the ages. "You could be our next winner." "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Electric cars. Apart from Tesla the current offerings are not very suitable for longer distance travel. I've not seen any figures yet on the Mustang, but, sadly, I doubt it will have the rang-performance profile of the Tesla. Much the same can be said about the offerings from Audi, BMW and Jaguar, all of which fall down on range. We wait and see. That's the procedure for full enactment here. I just got back from Barstow Hospital, I drove a friend there, Her husband is I think having the same problems that I was. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! Dealers are from what I've read installing charging stations, Tesla has them all beat, they're building a nationwide charging network of about 15,000 locations, there are 20 in Barstow, and another 8 or is it 18 at the new Eddie World in Yermo next to the i15 fwy, Eddie World isn't open yet, all Teslas come w/a 10K charger, the stations each can do 120K(2 cars) to 140K(1 car) @ 480v... 170 miles of charge 30 mins. Tesla S free charging for the life of the car. The model 3? I don't know what is charged. Tesla I read wants charging done in 5 minutes, so money is being invested, and everyone else is playing catch up, this is an arms race, so to speak... Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The Nisan claims for the extended range of the Leaf are somewhere around 50 to 80 miles over both the European an US "official" range, which is a big error. Friends in CA have an older Tesla, updated to the middle battery and they say it gets about 90% of its claimed range. So SB3 still has to become law, and only a deadline for its vote of the end of next year. Then there will be a period in which all the burocracy grinds into gear before the first cent is dispersed to the likes of yourself. That is assuming it does get its vote in time. Serious question, if that vote doesn't happen in time what happens to the legislation? (does it die, or does it get differed for another year?). I've decided to go all out on this Xbox One X Console contest, I've got 376 friends on Facebook, with 65 followers, I'll see what happens. I'm thru the 5,000 barrier, at 5,150 points, soon to be at 5,550 points. Pin Point Barrier, eat yer heart out. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

It's only for the Bonds, the law remains, only chapter 2 is being voted on, Chapter 1 is active now. SB-2 is similar, but without any Bonds, it goes thru real estate transactions instead. SB-3 Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2018. (2017-2018) SB-2 Building Homes and Jobs Act.(2017-2018) Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

My question still stands, all be it in a slightly modified form. If the vote fails, either because it is too late, of because the required majority is not reached does the relevant part of the legislation die, or does it get deferred to another vote at a later time. (This is a question that relates to the general process, not only to the specific case of the bonds and SB3) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

No there will not be another vote on this law beyond Nov 6th 2018, Chapter 1 will remain in force, Chapter 2 that is Bond related will die. However the Bond issue could be brought back in the State Legislature at a future date in a New Law, when I don't know, one party voted solidly against this law(Nay), the other for(Yay), the majority Democratic Population if they are anything like in the Legislature will vote(Yay), since the state is largely Democratic(Blue) in Voter population, Republicans(Red) are a minor party here now, and object to anything except tax cuts for the very wealthy. The links above detail who voted for(Yay), and who voted against(Nay), not to mention the Text of the Law itself. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! Given Vic has a GTX980 (or is it a GTX970?) which has audio over HDMI and by the sound of it is looking to buy a new monitor there are a couple of solutions. If the new monitor only has dvi then put the gtx9x0 into service and use the dvi output from that, getting a suitable adaptor if/when the x-box arrives. The next is to get an HDMI monitor, use the gtx9x0 HDMI output, and again if the x- arrives either use the second HDMI input on the monitor or get a simply HDMI input switch if required. Whatever I would be putting that gtx9x0 onto service, they run so much cooler than previous generations they don't require liquid cooling. Vic is running an i7-4820K with 16Gb Ram, and a GTX 580. So yes a GTX 980 or 970 would be an big improvement if he has one. Most modern graphics cards do not need water cooling that is for petrol heads into overclocking cpu's and memory, and tweaking BIOS settings to the limits. Sounds flash just costs money and is more trouble than it's worth. The 580 has an HDMI connection, or at least the one in my hand does. |

From what I've read, the Xbox one S/X will run at 720p, 1080p, and 4K, for the moment 1080p on My TV will do, My current monitor will only do 720p, 900 would not be recognized. I'm hoping to pay down 1 card in 8 months time, from when I start at least, which seems to be starting in March(or April at the latest), at about $125.00 a month, I need to try and get an Asus 970 Turbo card for this PC in February(or March at the latest) using My credit line in parallel by just paying on the credit line until then, though in Sept and Dec, I have DMV and Taxes to pay, so that might be 9 months from when I start(nothing is certain beyond the immediate month, some things begin to get clear near the end of the month, until then all are educated guesses), that's My biggest card, though not the most expensive, that one I could maybe get done in 4 months(after the biggest card, otherwise it would take longer to do), and since that one duplicates another from the same company and is a secured nightmare of a card, about 24.9% is a nightmare to Me, paying that one off, and getting My $600 back would mean I could pay off the $500 card it's hiding, and then pay $100 on another card that is $450 in value, which would leave $350 which would need 2 payments, I'd still have 1 card($600/3), Amazon($600/3), and a credit line to pay down(Frankenstein would be proud), close to $1800/9 on this monster. Anything else will keep after February for a while. The payments won't, they're constant, and I'm not interested in going bankrupt, not when I could do something... Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
