Nope, not really, at least the problem is not worse, the furnace could have refused to start, at least the furnace mostly works, this just means turn the furnace on before bed, and then when the temp is where I want the temp at, flip the blower switch, at least until I can pay for that part and the installation, which might be in November, this morning the temp at 7:17am was 51F outside.

Ok I called H&B, and they said as soon as the part is in, they will come out and install the missing part in the gas furnace, then the gas furnace repair will be complete, and I do not owe a thing to H&B.

Well I don't think I have sleep apnea, just a bed that is too hard, and is 11yrs old.
Grace sleeps on the bed in the daytime, at night it's My turn.
I'm going to tell the Doctor that in November.

And I will be able to get a tire and mount and balance the tire on the new steel rim this month, then in the trunk the full size spare tire goes.

Plus I've figured out a way to replace 3 outlets without doing any rewiring, buy 3 six outlet surge suppressors that have screws to secure them with, one is an APC model that has outlets facing the side, the other two are Monoprice.

APC, 1080 Joules; Monoprice, 540 Joules

Sentury 185/60*15 84H tire $46.00, only at Discount Tire Warehouse, this month 1 tire, then I'll need 3 more, like in January or so. 40,000 mile warranty.


I'm also getting a C2G(Cables To Go) DVI-D Dual Link 6.6' cable, and a 14 gauge pc psu cable since My 2nd PC does not have one yet, plus some black socks and some other bits of clothing.



And I need to stop by Vons and get a free flu shot too, KTLA 5 News just mentioned Australia is having a bad flu season.

If the outlets are junk, what is plugging a surge suppressor/splitter into them going to accomplish?
If they cannot make proper contact in the outlet, something is either not going to work or burn up.
Just wondering.

Well it's not that the outlets are total junk, it's just objects heavier than a cord for a vacuum cleaner will fall off, like My CO detector, or the heavy cord for the room a/c, the surge suppressor has a screw to secure the suppressor in place tightly to the outlet, as if it were a faceplate, then it'll be fixed, I know this is just a workaround, but for $10.85 and $7.99 each, it will solve a problem, and for low cost.

That's why I bought the APC, the Kitchen counter top in that area normally has an almost unused outlet, I am going to put My 2nd PC there, since the case fits under the overhead cabinets, and the outlet in question is right under the overhead cabinets, besides, this APC screws down, I couldn't find any other that did and has 6 side facing outlets, just APC.

I have to fill out a form, return to Vons w/the form, and then get the flu shot. Not today, I just got home from shopping for half of Grace's and My groceries, I'm beat.

I did weigh Myself today while I was at Vons, twice, why?
I wanted to see what would happen, I got 2 different weights.

403 lbs
412 lbs

And that was within minutes of each other, as I hadn't even left Vons.

I also told the pharmacy I kept sliding off the seat of the scale.

Home Depot has one that is outward facing for a little less than $8


and one that has 6 outlets and different angles for under $6


and Walmart has a 6 outlet side adapter for $5.

The 3 I bought all have surge protection Carlos, the angled one won't fit next to a PC, not tightly at least, I don't have a lot of counter top space as it is.

Ok after vacuuming out the trunk(I missed a piece, I know), and hauling the vacuum cleaner back in to the home, and after moving the car to the other side of the home, here's a pic of the new tire, in the trunk...
It's a tight fit, and this is uninflated, maybe the spare should be a 185/55x15(23.0" Diam), instead of the pictured 185/60x15(23.7" Diam) tire, this is in the trunk of My 1999 Ford Escort zx2 Sport Hot Coupe. I'm beat, and the rim is still in the home, it's almost 5pm here. The difference in the two sizes is 3.0% or 0.7" according to tiresize.com.

Ok, I decided the 185/55x15 tire is simply the wrong size, since I don't know if a 175/55x15 tire would fit or not, I will be going with the only other tire size that I know will work on a 5.5" rim, a Crosswind HP010 195/50R15 82V BSW, this 195/50 is the size the car came with when I bought the car, it's not a stock size at all like 185/60x15 is, but it does fit, plus it's 22.7" in diameter vs 23.7" for the 185/60x15 tire, and for $50.96 for the tire as a spare, it seems ok, November is when I plan on doing this. And the seller is tires easy, which I've bought tires from before with no complaints.
