I recently upgraded from Win 7 to 10. In my acct info it lists me as still running 7. Is there a way to change this ? Does the site check original settings when logging in or does it somehow need to be done manually ? |

Your computer list https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?userid=9735723 shows two computers, one running Windows 7, the other Windows (and that one has a creation date of today). BOINC will automatically send all it knows about hardware and software to the project on a scheduler contact (asking or reporting work). You don't have to do anything about that. |

I think what you have done is created a second computer, this is the one running Windows 10. It is not showing a graphics card as almost certainly the Windows 10 installation will not have installed the correct graphic card drivers. You will need to get the drivers direct from the Nvidia website, nothing from Microsoft will work correctly. Whether you will then be able to merger the computers I am not sure. |
