It's nice here in the frying pan. Of course there is a decent amount of traffic on the i15 going to Las Vegas NV, when I go to Barstow again, I'll probably come back via the i40 instead, and yes there is another way to get around both, from Barstow to Yermo, but you better have a full or nearly full tank, as there is not much out here, besides bushes, loose hares, road runners, etc, etc, etc. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's

108 F at 3:10 PM - PDT in Danville. It's STILL going to climb to AT LEAST 110 today. Tomorrow it will get to 111 F!!!!! Danville has NEVER been this hot before! :-O Both the Upstairs and Downstairs AC Units are on and set to 77 F. I have a small fan here in "The Closet" where all the home electronics and my two systems are... THIS SUCKS!!!! I'm NOT going outside! Also, this means that after sunset, around 8 PM, it will still be 80 something out there!!! :-O We have a pool, but, I think it's too hot to even think about that...
