I'm usung BOINC 7.6.33 on a Windows 10 64 bit computer with the Creators Update installed.
The Boinc Program eon't connect to any project. There is no specific error, only 'the project us not available'. Seems that the applicatiin can't connect to internet but I have the firewall with the exceptions configured and also configured exceptions in windows defender.
The sane version of BOINC in a Windows 10 without the Creator's update works fine.
I don't know what is the problem. I readed some post but not find this issue.
Thanks.

That certainly looks like a firewall issue. There are reports around that Windows 10's latest update "updates" some security settings, I would also look at your anti-virus settings to makes sure that BOINC is positively allowed to communicate with the internet (as opposed to not being listed as blocked)

Not just Wind 10 updates, some 7 udates are doing it for some ports too. Very frustrating to come in to the office and see the windoze installed updates and then find software fails and you have to manually reconfigure your port exceptions so it works again.

I deactivated completely the Windows 10 firewall and I'm still having the problem. And I configured the exceptions another time and everything seems to be correct. Is very frustating.
Sorry for my english, I'm from Spain and I'm trying to improve it.

Firewall exceptions really shouldn't be required. The Windows firewall has always been what's called a "stateful inspection" firewall. That means any traffic originating from the local computer (such as the BOINC client), responses are automatically allowed back in. Exceptions only need to be added if the originating traffic is a remote computer trying to initiate a connection into the local machine.

That being said, your problem does sound firewall related since you say BOINC is stating it can't access any projects. Are you using a third-party firewall other than the Windows built-in firewall? Did a firewall come with your anti-virus software, perhaps?
