I think he's got you from his BBC link, particularly in the pic of the Hindu boy. It's color, so more likely recent, way past WWII. Furthermore, given the centuries worth of Hindu use, he's probably using it as Hindu's intended, not how Hitler intended it.

That's two different symbols.
The Swastika is a sun symbol (Hindu boy) and imitates the sun's race over the sky while the Sauwastika (the vase most likely pre WWII) symbolizes the night and forces associated with darkness, sometimes with the terrifying goddess Kali.
But how many in the Western world knows that?

The swastika had been found over much of Europe (and elsewhere).

In Europe, it has been found much further back than elsewhere. In Ukraine, it dates from around 13,000 BCE, for instance. Another instance in neolithic England. In Bulgaria, it dates from about 6000 BCE.

On the Indian subcontinent (Indus River Valley civilization), its use only dates back to about 3000 BCE.

So... European use of the swastika pre-dates its use in 'India' by at least 10,000 years.

'Good' or 'Evil' use of the swastika depends on the context in which it is used. Use by (neo)Nazis is evil. Use by 'Aryan'/'Hindu' people may or may not be evil, depending on the variant used (one symbolizes good things, the other symbolizes things like Kali death cults).

IMO, we need to focus on opposing their (the (neo)Nazis) evil ideology, and not so much on various symbols they appropriated from others.
