BTW: If you don't like a President and believe she or he is dangerous. As many believed regarding Obama, Reagan, Lincoln, and many now believe with Trump. Which unlike Bill Clinton and Nixon. There is no evidence of him personally committing a crime. WV Gov. was never really a Democrat Before he ran as a Democrat, Justice had been a registered Republican and also a political independent. Still, many of West Virginia’s Democratic leaders embraced his run. Sen. Joe Manchin, West Virginia’s sole Democrat in Congress, endorsed Justice more than a month before the Democratic primary. Meanwhile, as Clyde keeps talking about how the Republicans are going to keep winning, some of us are waking up to just how big the con is, how close the parties are and how far the parties are from voters of the same "tribe". Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Foxconn liked everything about Illinois, but Wisconsin officials convinced Gou they made the best business partners. How could that be? Wisconsin will provide $3 billion in tax benefits over 15 years, Oh, I get it, Rump. No more investing in the future, because there is a chance of failure. Forget the almost certain return on investment and the creation of new jobs. Sound like a true rumper talking, you do. WHAT?!? You're against worrying about failure? Not against reasonable concern about failure, Rump. But not so petrified by the chance that one refuses to ever move forward either. Governor Walker has stated that the incentives offered to Foxconn are based on their performance as indicated. If they back off, they are not gonna get the whole enchilada. Governor Walker has statedHis mouth don't matter, what is in the contract? From an August 1 news story............. "Gou and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker signed an agreement Thursday for the company to invest $10 billion in the state and hire up to 13,000 people in return for $3 billion in tax breaks." Lets face it if this latest Foxconn promise does come off, and by their past performance, I very much doubt it will. It will not be the present President that gets the glory of cutting the ribbon and announcing the plant formally open. Take a look at all the Republicans lining up to for the 2020 elections, among that number is the VP. It is also going to be subject to the performance of the present stock market bubble driven by "tech companies", which Trump said was going to burst as long ago as December 2015, then again in April and September 2016. And in the 1st Presidential debate with Clinton. What chances of a plant if the bubble does burst? And also look and ask yourselves how long will those jobs last, Foxconn like all good companies looks to maximise profits, and US workers are expensive, so no doubt they will bring in automation and robots asap. |

It's very possible that 12,900 are needed to build it and just 100 to run it. ;-) Cheers. |

I wonder how many of those 13,000 are just for the construction stage and how many of them will be permanent positions. Lets get it absolutely clear, politicians have very little effect on jobs, it is the economic pressures that dictate the situation. The only jobs politicians start are big infrastructure projects, which we have heard very little about, after all the big promises. edit] Finding reliable workers for a Wisconsin factory. |

The political situation in the US has become a burden for the dollar, which is now down to just over 8 SEK. In December 2016 a dollar was worth 9,4 SEK. For the Swedish households, it may have positive effects. Thank you Trump:) |

edit] Finding reliable workers for a Wisconsin factory. That is so damn true in the rust belt. They have been busy hearing about the easy life and rags to riches. Sorry Mr. Gig, you get ahead by hard steady progress. Was reading resumes only last week. Ten jobs in two years, why? Don't have time to waste, next. Do you drug test? Next. There are some real humdingers out there. Got a Masters degree and you are applying for an entry level position? Why? Don't have time to waste, next. Wow, listed your job in the prison laundry? Next. What's this? Has relevant experience? Was at last job two years, laid off. Interview. Has skills, seems to really want the job. Make offer. |

Let's be absolutely clear that fact and political voting are not the same. Clyde that's true and why it is called the idiocracy . That may be the best form of government but it's pretty pathetic. |

Imbibing too much of "the good stuff" probably :-) If the good stuff involves a trip you might be on to something. OB, how much vacation time does a boss need if he enjoys his job? |
