No Meme, just a picture and a question...............

How is this much different? It's an out-of-context image with no direct association and you're trying to assert a conclusion, subtly, in the passive form of a question. It achieves the same end result as a meme by leading people to the conclusion you wish them to come to. Suggestion is a powerful tool.

And this is where you finish it off. By italicizing "your", suggesting personal ownership, makes the possible faux-pas (and again, it is an image used out of context) a direct personal offense, meant to incite anger. This image and question tries to provoke nationalism and pride to achieve a political end. It is purposefully meant to manipulate the reader into the many different conclusions this seemingly harmless open-ended question proposes.

When you post something like this, how is it that you have a right to complain about polarization and call for compromise when your memes and this image only contributes to driving a wedge between people? Its easy to call for compromise when your party is in office. I'll tell you what that's like when a socially progressive civil libertarian (my party) actually makes it into office.
