Moore is the worst representative possible of Conservative thought. The polarization of the Senate will only be made worse by his presence(there is little doubt he will win the seat and suck a lot of money out of the Democratic war chest in the process).

Those who seek political power not only have especially large and fragile egos, but are sometimes Machiavellian enough that they will think nothing of sacrificing a few thousand? hundred thousand? million?
