Eric and several of us are friends with both Richard and Joanne on Facebook. I have been coping anything Joanne posts here and letting her know of our support here as well. I have also seen Eric make a Facebook post or two. We are all concerned and trying to support them at this time. I will let them know of you concern.

I am sure this must be a very difficult time for Joanne as she helps Richard in any way that she is able to.

Thank you Carlos for keeping us updated and your kindness towards Richard and ourselves.

People come and go from these forums.

Some have a long history and others short.

Some on SETI or BOINC are never seen on the forums but crunch hard,

Some are never really known.

Some are well known.

All are members but we can't always tell what happens in their lives when they go offline from the forums - even if we personally miss them.

Sometimes it is enough to have known a soul and have become more because we walked with them for a while.

Whatever is Richard's situation I wish him love and gentleness.
