This is Joanne Lubrich, companion of Richards, posting on his site. Richard is now under hospice care in our home. Please pray for his comfort and passing into heaven. I will post updates. His condition is due to heart failure.

Being under hospice care is a part of life and not the end of life.

From experience hospice for a loved one is a personal experience for family and close friends.

Please give Richard my kindest regards.
We had talks about kitty things and computer things and meowed back and forth a few times.
He always had a great sense of humor. And I think of him very fondly.
You can tell him that my two kitties are having their birthday today. 16yo.
And I hope that some of your critters are keeping him company.
Meow, dear Richard! Meow.

Oh, and Joanne.....
I posted a few pics of my kitties this morning in my kittyman thread.
If Richard is up to it, you might print them or show them to him.
Hopefully it might give him a smile or some warmth in his soul.

This is simply, not good news to read. A true gentleman and one with intelligence and plain, simple kindness within him. I don't really know what to say, as, to be honest, my emotions are getting the better of me. I can't really add more, to what has already been said.
