Nothing fails like prayer.

I fully expect that a storm of vituperous criticism will fall upon me from believers and non-believers alike for the above remark. But it needs to be said.

Nothing raises us as much as hope and care for another we call brother or sister.

I'm not religious but as a simple human I recognise the value of the souls \ beings around me.

Prayers \ hopes \ loves \ friendships \ comeraderie \ knowing \ wishes \ being.. Way's of expressing connection. Imperfect but....

The thing that matters is letting another know we are there.

No storm.. Just a breeze.

"Asking for prayers again for Richard W Lubrich Jr and Richard W Jr Lubrichrich. Posted both because he has two sites. He is in the hospital again with congestive heart failure and toe amputation due to vascular disease. In a lot of pain and not doing well. He is not feeling well enough to post , but I will try to answer people for him. Thank you all for praying."

Thank you, Monday, for passing along that bit of news.
Certainly not the news that I wished to hear.
I shall continue to keep Richard in my thoughts and prayers with the hope that he may still improve.
And also Joanne as she copes with the situation and does what she can for him.

"He is in ICU on a breathing machine. The toe amputation went well, but his heart is weak."

No real news to share except that Richard accepted my friend request on Facebook. I let him know we are all pulling for him.

Correction it was Joanne who accepted on Richard's page. Here is her statement as of today.
" He had toes amputated last Friday and that went well, but still in the hospital with heart failure complications. He is very tired and hasn't been able to read or post in the last two weeks. I will keep everyone posted and hopefully he will be able to get back online soon." Joanne
