I cut and pasted this post from Joanne Lubrich directly from Facebook. I'm sure she wont mind. A lot of us know Richard.

"Alright Facebook friends. Time for a prayer request. Please pray for a miracle for Richard W Lubrich Jr, my brother in law. It has been a long year battling blood circulation in his legs and feet. By way of stents the circulation is back to the legs and feet, but not to his toes. Pray that a miracle would happen and circulation comes to his toes, so they don't have to amputate. Thank you everyone for praying. I am very busy but just know if I don't get back to you, I see your comments and God hears your prayers."

We tend to forget how long we have been on these forums and all the good souls we have met.

Thank you Monday for keeping us in touch with one of the best of our souls.

Richard you have always been a really cool dude.

We had the chance to speak across the seas on the phone long ago about community stuff.

I have never forgot your equity and warmth.

The road is wide and it travels on forever.

Be so good to keep traveling it next to you.

My heart is with you and your family in this difficult time.

Wishing you gentleness.

Pete

The kitties are stopping by to give Richard a few meows of encouragement.
And suggesting B12 supplement.
I had pain in my toes for years. Probably related to the pre-diabetic stage I am at.
Mentioned it to my doc, and she said "We better test your B12."
It was within range, but much lower than when it was last tested about 5 years ago.
So, I started taking 500mcg B12 tabs, once a day.
The pain went away after a few weeks, and has been absolutely gone for 5 months now.
I think my problem was nerve damage, not related directly to circulation.
But, it worked for me.

Still thinking of you, Richard and Joanne.

Meow.

So perhaps a bit of history here?

But not necessarily any science either.

Please have me excused, but next you should already know my stance, or perhaps attitude.

@bluestar

No real science or history needed.

DR SETI has been around for a long time.

He is himself and a bit of an artist.

He hasn't been active on the forums for a while.

He has health issues.

People are showing their fondness and well wishes for a long time cruncher and a friend.

Ah, Dr CETI. I'm saddened to hear such awful news of him. Yes indeed, a very gifted and amazing person....some of the recipes he posted here, were brilliant, as I recall - good enough to make me feel like I hadn't eaten for a month! I'll add my very best hopes and wishes, to those already expressed here, to such a wonderful guy.

Nothing fails like prayer.

I fully expect that a storm of vituperous criticism will fall upon me from believers and non-believers alike for the above remark. But it needs to be said.

You ARE entitled to your opinion; but, it DOES NOT change my belief in the power of prayer.

God bless, Richard, AGAIN! :-)

I will second that thought, and that belief.

More prayers AND good thoughts for Richard.

+1 Pete.

I also have had chats across the oceans with Richard many years ago, one of life's characters, and I am truly sorry to hear this news. Warmest regards from me to you both.

I also remember a chat via Skype with Richard, very good company. Wishing him a full recovery.
