On the site of the Televisione della Svizzera Italiana, which I see on Iinternet, there was an interview with a glaciologist of the Zurich Polytechnic Institute who said that the Alpine glaciers are disappearing within this century. I can confirm that the glacier of Marmolada, the highest peak of Dolomiti mountains, which I had climbed in 1960, in the year 2000 was reduced to one half. Poor mountains, without their glaciers are reduced to rubble.
