I suspect you have forgotten
lefty loosey righty tighty selector

what do you call a tool with such a selector that is in your tool box?

Add flange

add the obvious

I bet you have the answer.

I have to admit Admiral you do a good job picking out something, well everyone does as a group I guess.
but that one through me because it didn't look like the ones I was used too.
I have learned a lot playing this game.
On my 100th birthday I'll look back and laugh. LOL

Ok guess the clues are going no where.
Might it be a ratcheting flange wrench.
Not something I have ever used but I have worked with utility crews who had them.

If it isn't, Carlos, aside from a slightly different naming, I'll be glad that I didn't put up the suggestion on Wednesday. It might have deprived some people of having some 'fun', too!

adjustable companion flange ratcheting wrench?

Adjustable companion flange ratcheting wrench. The screw in posts for the holes in the flange also has two different size sleeves which go over the posts for different size holes. The level which is shown on the back of the tool snaps in to show you where level is but is removable for regular work.

PM going out.

Vacuum dryer lint sucker thingy.
You stick the hose in the clothes dryer lint trap area.
