city water system if one hit a main

Back east they had plenty of lead pipes off the main, no more aloud .

No bearing. It's not a pin if you mean it holds something else in place. The shaft holds the conical part of the tool in place. So you could call the cylinder part the pin end.

It is a bit and it does cut hard surfaces.
The tool does rotate but it's not a lathe.

TBM = Tunnel Boring Machine (makes London underground tubes [and others])

Looks like a super fancy shrimp cocktail fork, but you likely use it on canvas.
