edit: when I say I know it I mean I know it exists, not actually what it is or does, and if I did in passing notice what it was and did ... I didn't actually store it anywhere to recall it from so I do... know it I mean

Thought so. Yep, I've used something that does the same job, but a different design, which might indicate this is for use with a less strong material.

Well how about heavy metal bands. Never really my tasted in music but that think might do something with a non musical definition of the phrase.
