My computer is never power down, and the work unit is never stop, Why? please somebody can give me a answer, Thank you. It comes down to the method that is used here- Credit New- for determining what Credit to allocate for work done. Unfortunately the amount of credit given varies considerably depending on the Work Units (WU) being processed. Also, some WUs take longer to process, but don't get as much Credit as those that can be done faster. So the end result is that sometimes RAC will climb, and other times it will fall- all depending on the amount & type of work being processed. EDIT- it has been a source of annoyance ever since it was brought in, but it's not going to change so while some people have left the project for others that pay higher amounts of Credit, most people just put up with it and continue crunching. I too have noticed the ups and downs of the RAC......but I guess I have been happy been involved in an experiment as a compensation...... I have little or no understand of the types of WUs been distributed to clients.....but it is nice to be involved.....:-) |

And RAC continues to plummet. WUs that used to pay as much as 100 Cobblestones are now barely giving 70 (sometimes you get lucky with your Wingman and get more. Sometimes). Yay for Credit New. Grant Darwin NT |
