I suspect that it is an agenda pushed by the non thinking right wing of so called Christian sects.

What kind religion has its members drink the blood of its god and eat the flesh of its god? Sect? Cult? Aum Shinrikyo? Heavens Gate? Jim Jones? ??
I mean shouldn't a religion venerate its gods and not cannibalize their god?
And they are supposed to be a moral authority?!

Life is secondary to the "Mighty Dollar", so what more can be expected from a degenerate country.

Many problems. But still above most of Europe.
Don't think so. You are only 34th on the list of healthy countries, & many European ones are ahead of you :-)
Your obesity levels are so high, I'm surprised there are no tremors on your sidewalks :-)

Edited for grammar.

Let's also include Australia, along with most of Europe and especially Ireland the USA is above ;-)
Doubt it, you have a very long way to go to match them on abortion.

Doesn't matter. We are still above Ireland ;-)

But now that Ireland is separating church and state, they are on the rise, while the US is slipping further into the hands of the church, and the enlarged Trump swamp and about to loose all its friends.

Yep. Abortion legal in USA for decades.

Your inferior to the USA country just now, and much too late, legalized abortion.

Yes, we are superior to Ireland ;-)

For how long?

Took you long enough to admit your foolishness. You have the same destination as all of us, the only difference is one of conveyance. Which one is yours - toasted or worm food? :-)

That is the one thing on this planet that knocks "superiority" for six :-)

Well, 2,000 years of European greed, barbarism, superstition, and stupidity...

We have way over a millennium to match Europe's past and present.
No you don't. It just proves that you took one tenth the time to achieve all Europe did in that time. Not something to be proud of in my book!

Edited for spelling error.

If sperm could be deflected as fast as you deflect threads from the topics concerned, there would be no need for abortions :-)

We believe that much of your part of the world is infected in a belief of a superior system, run by superior people. Be it in the past religious, or in the present Ideological.

The American culture believes power will be so corrupted. That power must, for the sake of people, be reduced and divided.

One day, perhaps much of Europe will advance beyond their primitive beliefs.

But I wouldn't bet on it.

Didn't work, did it, on all the pages I have read the US is lower down the corruption and democracy tables that most Western European countries.

Guessing the Mass Exodus from the USA is the response :-D

Another confirmation that Europe's historical belief in their Superiority has not ended.
Really?
What European leader openly displays their pleasure at grabbing women by the .....?
What deputy European leader demands the subjugation of women?

Speaking at an anti-abortion event in Tennessee, he went so far as announcing his hope to end abortion “in our time.” Pence told the crowd, "I know in my heart of hearts this will be the generation that restores life in America… If all of us do all we can, we can once again, in our time, restore the sanctity of life to the centre of American law.”
If that is his belief, what has he done to preserve life & prevent the mass executions of unarmed students - After all, those whose abortions he wants to end will someday end up as students if he succeeds!

Safe or controversial?

[But I'm interested in the question, what is more important is a woman's right to an abortion or the right to life?

It is a balance.
At one end you have a single cell.
At the other end you have a full term fetus.
You also have the right of the mother to live.

Would you hold the mother at fault if the single cell failed to implant in her uterus? (Many don't, so this is not an idle question.)
If you would not hold her at fault, then why would you if it was called abortion?

Would you hold the mother at fault for a miscarriage? (Some countries do.)
If you would not hold her at fault, they why would you if it was called abortion?

If a doctor told the mother the fetus will not survive?

If a doctor told the mother her life or the fetus?

It is a balance. There is no single answer. It depends on specific circumstance. Doctor and patient no government.
