G'day everyone, from a lovely autumn day in the highlands down under (but we could do with some of that wet stuff around here Grant), Well on Saturday I decided to strip down and rebuild 2 old desktops here (both of them I originally built 11yrs ago), this 1 here, that returned home just in time for last winter, has now gone the way of many old Vista (and a few Win10) desktop/laptops around here that are now happily running Linux Mint (for a little country village it now has a very good Penguin Club developing). Many of them are in the hands of quite elderly people too who love it. It now has a GTX 560Ti in it and is my first attempt at crunching under a Linux OS, so far so good, but there are still a few quirks I have to work out. Yesterday just turned out to be 1 big afternoon/evening party (as 1 should on a Sunday), but this morning was a constant stream of visitors and thankfully they have all left so I can start beer O'clock. Cheers. |

Gee would not think it's the second month of Autumn here in Adelaide 4 days above 33c today and yesterday 38c, normally we are around the high teens or low 20's by now.. |

G'morning everyone, from a cool, windy, but sunny Hump Day in the highlands down under. Well I did my usual Hump Day domestic duties yesterday as I have a beer brew to bottle up today and as soon as I finish this coffee break I'll start boiling water to sterilise the bottles. Cheers. |

Good morning from a very warm and sunny Adelaide, going for our 5th day of 38c + almost half way through Autumn which is now a new record for this time of year. There is a large cool change later today/tonight which will bring our daily temps back down to average 19c/22c possibly the season break we have been waiting for with the first signs of rain for the year.. Getting myself a slab or 2 of beer and soak up the dying stages of this Indian Summer, very much looking forward to the cooler weather.. Steve |

we had a mild winter this year, we only went below freezing down to -2C four times all winter. about 1/2 the rain as last year now but all the dams are full. Skiers didn't get much of the powder stuff they would like though. Well Wiggo you have a pretty good routine going there, one could say you got it down to a science. LOL Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

G'morning everyone, from a cool, overcast and windy Sunday in the highlands down under. Well yesterday was almost the same as today, but we did get a bit of that wet stuff falling from the sky so Dog won't be raising any dust as she runs around the yard tiring the Pup out. I also pulled the hard drive out of a customers PC, backed up their files and tested the hard drive (which all went well) so I guess that I put it back together and see if I can repair Win7 or if I have to reinstall it. It's the first time that I've seen this rig since I built it 7yrs ago and if it wasn't for a corrupted user account it could've been longer. Anyhow, I better finish this coffee and get into it as Sunday Beer O'clock is only a couple of hours away now. ;-) Cheers. |

I haven't had a pint of IPA for decades. Last Saturday I went to a local pub and to my surprise they serve IPA. Well, The pub was out of it but should be getting more on next tuesday the landlord said to me. So today I was there with a big anticipation. "Sorry. No IPA today". Grrrrr:( |

Can't go to bed now. The whole room is spinning around. I think I've had just a little bit too much Cognac:-) We Hammarby fans would say "Fan, rätt schysst asså" :) |

I think I've had just a little bit too much Cognac:-)My missus use to do that, but in her case it was usually red wine doing the spinning. ;-) Anyhow, it's blowing a gale across the top of the mountain range here so instead of going out to BBQ's and getting blown away I'll just stay home by my beer fridge and be comfortable. :-D Not long to go now. Cheers. |

G'morning everyone, from another cool, overcast and windy day in the highlands down under. Well Hump Days here lately seem to be the best days for turning the heat on in my brewroom and today it's a long haul spirit production day. Cheers. |

Well the ethyl alcohol has been separated from the wash Grant and it's now going through the charcoal drip filter before I water it all down to 40%. Cheers. |

G'morning everyone, from a sunny start in the highlands down under (which isn't expected to last long). After a 8am to midnight session yesterday in my brewroom I'll try something a bit more mundane today like setting up security camera system before Beer O'clock gets here. Anyhow, I'd better get this coffee finished so I can go and do that little job. Cheers. |
