I've never heard of Allagash, but that sounds interesting. Even though I'm not a bourbon drinker, there's a bourbon barrel stout I like. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

The sub title is Curieux. I love exotic, strong beer. Most of the time I drink Budweiser, as it is cheap, and my system is used to it, but I love Belgian ale, especially the Trappist ales. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I like La Trappe. I think there are several versions of it. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

The interesting thing about Trappist ales, is that the monks can't say anything, unless you ask them about their beer. Each monk is aloud I think 4 pints a day of their ale, which at the strengths I have seen, would pre-embalm me. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. Good morning everyone, on a sunny Sunday morning in the highlands. I certainly agree with you there Betreger. Enjoy that beer Steve as I'll be enjoying my 6.3% homebrewed lager again very soon. I use to make it at 9.3%, but I got sick of falling off my milk crate after only having 6 of them. No oak casks here either, my beer ages in the bottles. [edit] I met a Monk once, her name was Sophie. LOL Cheers. |

This next beer is Julius Echter Weisbier Premium. It says some more words in German, which I don't understand, but it is strong and good. If I keep this up, I may end up a wee bit tipsy. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Julius Echter Weissbier is almost a Monk beer as well:) Julius Echter was a Prince-bishop in the 17th century and the brewery was founded in 1643 by Johann Phillip Schönborn also a Prince-bishop:) Brewed according to the Bavarian Reinheitsgebot of course. |

G'morning everyone, from 2nd cool damp start in the highlands. After 40hrs of cool wet weather here (along with brown and black outs) it looks like we'll have at least another 24hrs of it so the yard isn't dusty anymore, but the grass has taken off again so I guess I'll have to mow again soon (after the rain goes away). It's good to know that the beers did the trick Steve and your pic is still alive and well. ;-) Anyhow, with 3.5hrs to go until Beer O'clock I better get a few things done before it gets here. Cheers. |

After a rather busy Saturday morning here I'm off 3 doors up the hill for a liquid lunch break. Cheers. |

G'day everyone, from another overcast drizzly day in the highlands down under. Well after looking outside Sunday Beer O'clock will be happening here in the shed today and within the hour. Even when I start alone Grant I never finish that way. Cheers. |

G'morning everyone, from a very wet start to the working week in the highlands. Other than doing the weekend's dishes and putting the bins out there won't be much going on here today until Beer O'clock arrives. Cheers. |

G'morning everyone, from a sunny (but cool) start in the highlands. Thankfully Grant I don't have a mobile phone to lose, but I am in the process of putting down another beer brew while I have a load of washing in the machine. Beer O'clock in 3.5hrs. Cheers. |
