It's the same sister that forbid me to post anything funny about her on the internet.

And how's that working for her? LOL.

Well, my Powerball ticket for tonight was a bust, so I guess I'll have to plan on going to work on Tuesday........

Homeless kitties all over the country would rejoice.....LOL.
Not likely. But, the odds if you buy a ticket are still better than if you do not play.

True, the last time I played, I played in a pool, no one there won either.

I only played after the bills and such were paid, and only $2.00, though not on powerball then.

Though if I had a time machine, I could send someone the winning numbers, but no one knows how to do that.

Dreaming is fun and free.

Right now I'm waiting for My rent bill, as the meters were read back around the 18th, but then so is everyone else in the park, misery loves company.

Hmm, since our lottery started in Nov '94 I've had quite a few nice wins :-) In fact the proof was occasionally posted on these boards. For an annual spend of £156 (£3 per week) it would take xxxx years without a win to start showing a loss :-)

The only way to guarantee winning at a lottery is to be the organiser.

Or the computer programmer.

Well, in the case of the Powerball game, the winning numbers are picked by randomly drawn balls. So computer programming skills or hacking would not help ya.

Ah but all my winning numbers were picked randomly by computer :-)

But that is a moot point when the end result is determined by random chance.

True, but when using a "fixed" set of numbers, it's not truly random.

Well, if you report that the draws look random but they are not ...

Speaking of lottery.
http://www.ozy.com/flashback/the-grand-comedy-of-chinas-biggest-bank-heist/65062
Winning the lottery may not be such good luck after all. That’s what happened to Ren Xiaofeng when he bought tickets with borrowed money, winning enough to pay it all back. You can guess what happens next, right? Going for that winning ticket proved addictive and, unfortunately for Ren, the “borrowed” money came from a bank vault that he was responsible for keeping safe.
So begins the tale of China’s biggest-ever bank heist.

Well now I need a new tire, there goes $48.00 delivered, mounting and balancing $16.00 extra or $64.00 total.

If I needed a rim, like this one, that would run $48.60 delivered, I'd be in a real pickle then, and since I have not gotten My rent bill, yet, and I have not bought all My food for the month, so I might be in a pickle now, I just don't know yet.

I've got a friend here who can set Me up with a temp tire and rim, so no worries there, I just have to wait until He gets home.

"£$%^&U*I)_+ Vic - not at all nice.
I hope you are OK (apart from impending damage to your finances that is)
The rim should be OK - I've had far worse blow-outs than that and the rim has been unscathed because the remnants of the tyre has ended up between the rim and the road surface.
