My may have described the situation quite well.

I decided to waste some electricity so I turned my lava lamp on after not using it for several years. It's quite cold in my lounge room so it's taking a good while to warm up.

Snorting chocolate the next quick energy craze?

Coco Loko could be the next biggest energy supplement.
What's the newest buzz-inducing trend?

It could be chocolate that you snort.

Legal Lean, an Orlando-based supplement company, created Coco Loko, a cocoa powder that includes gingko biloba, taurine and guarana — ingredients normally found in energy drinks.

Nick Anderson, 29, founded Legal Lean after he heard about the chocolate snorting trend in Europe. He was feeling a bit adventurous and purchased the powder to give it a try.

Marijuana Shortage Prompts Emergency In Nevada; Tax Officials Weigh Changes

Sales of recreational marijuana have blown past expectations in Nevada, threatening to leave some dispensaries with empty shelves. After Gov. Brian Sandoval endorsed a statement of emergency in the first week of legal sales, regulators are looking to bolster the supply chain.

The Nevada Tax Commission is meeting Thursday to determine whether the state has enough wholesale marijuana distributors; it could also adopt emergency regulations.

For those that are interested, the next Doctor Who is to be a woman, Jodie Whittaker.

I thought the BBC were making a programme called "The Great British Switch-Off", hosted by Jodie Whittaker! That's what I'll be doing....

Person ‘passes gas’ on an American Airlines plane, forces all passengers off at NC airport

RALEIGH, N.C. – Somebody “passed gas” on an American Airlines plane, causing passengers to become sick and everyone had to be removed from the jet.

WNCN reported that the plane landed at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Sunday afternoon when the incident was reported.

People on the flight complained of headaches and nausea and had to be taken off the plane.

Authorities investigated the incident and determined that one of the passengers had “passed gas.” Officials said later that it was a “medical call.”

Raleigh-Durham International Airport has not identified the flight, where it was from or where it was headed.

Think the BBC needs to learn how to count...

Lol! But seriously I could see that happening. I used to work with a group of people that could peel the paint off the walls. Walk in the bathroom after them and you wish you didn't.

Well we really don't know when the Sir John Hurt Doctor is from. He could be the 15th, 16th or 18th doctor leaving room for the 13th now and a few more latter or earlier? Or now. Time is confusing some times.

Sir John Hurt played the 9th Doctor (The War Doctor), coming after Paul McGann (a shame that he never reappeared in a series, but paradoxes can happen). As for time being confusing, well, people assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, its more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff. So, yes, it can be confusing.

I haven't tried to worry about it too much (like I would with Trek, for example), but as near as I can figure War Doctor is a specialty Doctor and doesn't get a number, thus Eccleston is still 9. Or at least that is (in my mind, anyway) how the BBC justifies sticking him in there without renumbering Eccleston, Tennant, and Smith.

Or is it more like "Hey, we never said those guys were 9 through 11, you lot just all assumed they were"?

(Now I'm feeling the need to rewatch the 50th anniversary show.)
