If I were to spend that much $$ over a email. I would pick up a phone for conformation and validate if it is real.

My father in law who was also a retired judge was brilliant when it came to the law. But when it came to emails and telephone scams he was a child. Remember, many judges are older and grew up in a different time.

Being that war is hell, lots of people were harmed
during the production of this motion picture
(but since television is a dramatic medium of
make believe, all casualties removed their
prosthetic make-up and went home unscathed).

Credited characters in this episode include Gangrene Man, Head Wound Man, Hysterical Woman, and Blind Soldier. Also Hippocrates and Democritus.

Sad to say, some of My relatives are like that, one is older, and the rest are younger, go figure.

But then I understand computers, and security, since I've been involved in both in the past, what can I say.

Plus I've had to do IT duties on some PCs that a friend owned, some of His employees liked to visit risky sites, ones that would have keyloggers, and other harmful malware ready to be unleashed on any unsuspecting sucker. Needless to say that was as a favor, it was not a paying gig.

A bit of "Monkey Business" for your weekend enjoyment from the Dallas, Tx Zoo:
Watch Zola gorilla demonstrate play behaviors as he splashes and dances during a swimming pool enrichment session off habitat, behind-the-scenes.

Coffee-seeking 81-year-old leads Denton (TX) police on low-speed chase
The Denton police officer rapped on the elderly driver's Jeep, telling her to roll down the window and unlock the door.

But Nancy Strader, who honest to God just wanted to get a cup of coffee, had other ideas.

So despite the officer's protestations, Strader simply drove away, with police in pursuit, with speeds reaching as much as 25 mph.

.... snip ....
"Nancy, why didn't you stop?" one of them asked as she sat on the ground. "Why didn't you just open the door when I knocked on the window back there?"

"Why?" she answered. "It's my car. My life. My everything."

"Yeah, but when you are driving the way you are," the officer said, "you're endangering other lives."

Police say Strader was not under the influence, and paramedics declared her vital signs just fine.

She was charged with evading arrest. Fourteen hours later, her son posted $1,000 bond to spring her from jail.

She never did get that cup of coffee.

Teenage boys wear skirts to school to protest against 'no shorts' policy
https://www.theguardian.com/education/2017/jun/22/teenage-boys-wear-skirts-to-school-protest-no-shorts-uniform-policy
Strange. When my nephew, who lives in England, was in school he had to wear shorts even at winter.

We weren't allowed to wear long trousers until we entered the 3rd year of secondary school.

Matthew's mother had to appeal to the school that he should wear long trousers during winter.
She didn't want that he would suffer from knee problems later in life.

Didn't cause any problems for us. The winters here for the past 40 years have been nothing like the winters that people from the 40's, 50's or 60's went through.

Oh yes, had to walk 5 miles each way uphill through snow drifts.

US Inventions There has been a British outcry on social media after a US chain claimed to have invented a new summer snack.

Considering that Mrs Beeton included a recipe for sausage rolls in her book Book of Household Management in 1861,
page 658 we on this side of the pond are 'not amused'.

You open the front door and only see snow. Then you had to tunnel to the outside.
