‘THIS IS CRAZY’: Austin man sues date for texting during movie

Why go to all that effort?
Should have just knocked some sense in to her with the phone.

Grant, are you guys as interested down there as the US media seems to be in the wedding Saturday in England?

There's a wedding?

The local media here are only interested in Crocodiles, if they can't get a Crocodile in to the story one way or another then you end up with stories like Our dog ate my G-string. Seriously, that made the front page here.
Nationally, they can't decide between the goings on in US politics, or the arrest of a whole bunch of people for ripping of the Tax department- especially since 2 of those arrested are the adult children of one of the most senior officials in the Tax dept, who hasn't yet been implicated in the fraud (at this stage) but has been stood down for breaches relating to accessing information he wasn't entitled to.
As for a wedding, ?

Yeah, weird.
First time I clicked on it, no issue. Clicking on it from the link, it wants money.
As hard to believe as it might be, the headline is the best part of the whole article. It goes down hill from there.

It'd be funny if it weren't so serious.
But you've got to laugh, or end up pulling your hair out in frustration.

Pippa, of course. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..................

At first I thought she's too young to get married, then I noticed it was Pippa, not Peppa.
A quick search on Pippa and Wedding brought up a few hits. I'm guessing Pippa Middleton is a someone? The name's vaguely familiar, but I don't pay much attention to society news. Most of that comes from looking at the covers of magazines at the supermarket checkout.

Yeah. I ignored a piece about it on the ABC evening news, but it got me wondering if it was covered at all in other parts of the world or it was just our media being stupid.

[edit]
Apparently, the real attraction is that the wee Royals are participating as page boy and flower girl. Poor kids.

Just in POLICE have confirmed a number of people have died after concertgoers fled a Ariana Grande gig after “loud bangs” were heard.
Manchester Police tweeted that emergency services were responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena.
“There are a number of confirmed fatalities and other injured.”
They have advised people to avoid the area.

There is speculation the “bangs” could have been balloons popping loudly near a microphone.
Anyways. Today you never know:(
Like the concert in Paris some months ago.

there's 1 less big game hunter in the world, it's a shame about the elephant though.

Theunis Botha, 51, was leading a hunt in a game reserve in Zimbabwe when four breeding elephants charged at his group.
Theunis Botha deserved his death!
RIP the elephant!

I wonder if he caught anything.

Cheers.
