Clyde your unwillingness to answer a simple yes or no question reveals once again what you are. This is not an attack you self destruct on your own.

Clyde is a politician.
They cannot answer a question with a simple yes or no:)
And many other of course.

Clyde is not a politician, he is incapable of creating a following. He finds it to be very lonely under his bridge.

betreger...

It is your unwillingness to understand anything beyond the little ideological bubble you, and many others inhabit.

There is a much bigger and important problem we are facing. Than a, at best, totally incompetent President. Perhaps even a Criminal President.

Which is...

The forces attempting to 'bring down' Trump. Re: The Ruling Class, and their unknowing puppets, the Radical Left. Are perhaps, even more dangerous.

Personal, and childish attacks. While you fail to acknowledge that your Country is in danger from Both Sides.

Speaks volumes.

Clyde I do understand and that is totally off topic for this thread. To reiterate I asked you a simple yes or no question and you went off topic. There are other threads where that is on topic. Comprende?

Speaks volumes.

What does speak volumes is the ease in which you entrap yourself & when caught in that trap, you yell "personal attack" or avoid answering with your "standard "back to subject".

Have you not stated that you "survived" that "liberal establishment" you taught in?

There's only 2 ways that can be accomplished:
1: Keep your head down. We all know that a nail that sticks up gets hammered down.

2: Sheer brown nosing & brown tongue.

Either one has the same ending. A rosy pension at the end.

Now that you have achieved that, you look at your country & ask yourself a question:

Why aren't I at the top or close to it?

Again there is one of two answers:

1: You kept your head down too long.

2: You didn't do enough browning.

When I inhaled Marijuana once after a rock concert in the early 70's I didn't felt relaxed at all.
On the contrary:(

I remember joints being passed around at a Pink Floyd concert many moons ago. I didn't partake. The show was plenty trippy enough for me. ;~)

Those days you didn't have to smoke joints.
It was smoky enough:)

As a teenager. Different reaction from janne.

But that wasn't my last 'inhaling'.

Happened in the early 70's at New York's Madison Square Garden. Where The Rolling Stones were performing a concert. I was a Cop assigned there, and decided to enter and watch them.

While standing next to the stage. I was enjoying the girls, sitting atop the shoulders of a guy, removing their tops and twirling them at the Group. The Marijuana Smoke was very thick...

Wow. 71 posts in this thread with 40 being totally off topic.
I think more here partake of the subject than admit it.

Federal Legalization has been an ongoing dream of mine for 48 years(give or take a few days lost in the haze). NORML has been going I believe almost that long. As a consumer for that long I've seen the truth in the term 'gateway drug' but not in the manner it's usually portrayed. Marijuana has been the gateway due to the sources available.

In my not inconsiderable personal experience those sources usually handled many other illicit and illegal substances that were far more harmful than Cannabis. I was sucked into the world of Cocaine in my mid 30's and saw many of my friends lose everything including their lives, not because of Pot, but the other attendant abuses that were a constant temptation when 'scoring a lid'.

My position is that by divorcing the procurement and use of Cannabis from the proximity of the other abused drugs through legalization would greatly reduce the exposure to those drugs. I was fortunate enough to overcome my craving for a lot of harmful behavior, again many of my friends were not. The weak of soul will ultimately fall to whatever demon claims them be it Alcohol, Drugs, Sex or Gambling but allowing the least harmful to be made freely available only seems logical to me.

Luckily I live in a State who's population have also made that decision and whose Public Schools are now benefiting from the revenue......

Although I was fortunate not to expand my use of 'illicit drugs' beyond Marijuana. Many of friends and associates were not so fortunate. With the same devastating results.

According to these Forums, and my friends and associates: Pro Legalization does not appear to follow a person's Political Beliefs. IE: Right, Left, Center, Pro Trump, Anti Trump.

"Mary Jane" the Great Re-unifier...........who'd a thunk it?

There are so many Sexta and Septuagenarian users (thanks to the Hippie movement) that have a half century experience with the effects, both direct and side, to pretty much debunk the legends of 'Reefer Madness'. Most of us are in pretty good health for old farts, unlike those who've spent the last 50 years with their nose in a bottle of totally legal abuse.

Maybe time for the Party of Puff to govern the country, it would appear their memories are better than those just in, or out of power........

A drugged nation is much easier to control from an all-powerful centralized government.

I would imagine your "evidence" for this is those bastions of individual free expression and open opposition to the government where marijuana is illegal: China and Saudi Arabia.

I'd be interested to know which undemocratic, authoritarian governments where cannabis is legal you meant. Good luck finding one.
