Radeon HD 4000 series only had Beta OpenCL support. Finding a Windows 10 driver with OpenCL support for HD 4000 series may be an only issue. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

I have to make a HD4350 work with openCL 1.0 under Windows XP with an old catalyst version like 11-11_xp32_dd_ccc_ocl.exe file driver. it takes about more 9 hours to finish an Arecibo WU ( with an A64X24400+ CPU who finish it in 5 h ) perhaps have to use W7 driver instead ? http://www.geeks3d.com/20111116/amd-catalyst-11-11-whql/ with Win10 ? |

You need the legacy driver 13.4 to get the ATI HD4000 series to work correctly under Windows 10. 1: Download the Catalyst 13.4 legacy driver and run the installer but close it after it unpacked all the installation files to C:\AMD. 2: Open Device Manager. 3: Under Display adapters right click on the adapter used in your system and click Update Driver Software. 4: Click on the second option Browse my computer for driver software. 5: Click Let me pick from a list of device... in the next menu and Have Disk... on the following. 6: Click Browse on the pop-up menu and go to: C:\AMD\AMD_Catalyst_13.4_Legacy_Beta_Vista_Win7_Win8\Packages\Drivers\Display\W86A_INF. 7: Select the first .inf file and click open. 8: Select the model from the list that corresponds to your hardware and click Next. Afterwards the driver should install accompanied with several screen flickers. 9. Now re-run the legacy driver installer from AMD and have it install the Catalyst Control Center. 10. Restart the computer. |
