A couple weeks ago I noticed this problem but didn't have time to ask for help about it then. It seems to be happen with all the GPU tasks. So I just suspend the GPU tasks for now. From my research I suspect that the video driver needs downgrading or upgrading. I think I need to rename app_info.xml and either just run the default apps or do a fresh install of the latest optimized binaries. I could use some help from the experts in knowing what I need to do? Thank you.

Below is a chunk of the event log... I think it has all the CPU and GPU info you need.

It looks like you're using a very old version of the Lunatics installer and you'll find the latest Lunatics 0.45 Beta 6 here or revert back to stock to remove those old MB V7 entries.

You may also want to check that you have white listed your BOINC data folder with your antivirus program as that maybe stopping the finish file from being written.

Cheers.

Build features: SETI8 Non-graphics OpenCL USE_OPENCL_HD5xxx OCL_ZERO_COPY OCL_CHIRP3 FFTW AMD specific USE_SSE2 x86 - CPUID: AMD A8-5500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
. . . . .
OpenCL-kernels filename : MultiBeam_Kernels_r3330.cl
INFO: Loading binary into device failed (-42,-42); will compile from sources...
ERROR: clFFT_CreatePlan[1] failed: -46

I think it is antivirus preventing the compile of the app
r3330 IS a v8 app

Not sure where those other v7 complaints are coming from. Likely old Lunatics installer as suggested.

Thank you gentlemen. Making those changes seems to have worked.

I'm just using the Windows Defender built into Win 10. When you add an exception for a directory it doesn't say if that excludes the subdirectories. At least the settings page doesn't make it clear one way or another. I assume it does.
