Hallo liebe Leute, bestimmt werden einige jetzt lachen und das Stichwort "Kühlung" einwerfen.

Ich frage mich, ob man die Tegra X1-GPU der NVIDIA Shield TV-Box mit ihren 1 Tflops unter Android 7 nicht ebenfalls in der Android-App zum Mitrechnen konfigurieren kann.
Klar, bei den Smartphones scheitert das dauerhafte Rechnen oft an der Akku- oder SoC-Temperatur.

Die NVIDIA Shield besitzt eine aktive Kühlung, da sollte also im Prinzip nichts schief gehen, und die Box verbraucht extrem wenig Energie. So zwischen 4-11W (RMS) konnte als Spitzenwerte bei Benchmarktests mal messen.

Vermutlich ist der Anwenderkreis klein, ich jedoch würde mich sehr freuen, falls man BOINC ebenfalls diese tolle GPU nutzen lassen könnte.

Bisher habe ich allerdings kaum Hinweise diesbezüglich finden können..

I don't speak German but I noticed you are running an A-6 with the builtin ATI graphics.

My own experience with an A-10 shows that you can either run all cpu with no gpu or all gpu with no cpu. Any attempt to run both at the same time produces the low level of performance you are currently getting.

You can use the "preferences" on your Seti page to all you to make the A-6 separate from the others (say make it a "school" computer) and then try out both the cpu only and the gpu (ATI) only and see which provides you with more Gflops/Processing.
