I have got the 2070 up and running with cuda 9. I am somewhat underwhelmed by the performance, and so the first step would be to install cuda 10 apps. However, everything from TBar seems to be gone from the internet today, so how do I get my hands on the newest cuda 10 seti app? |

I am somewhat underwhelmed by the performanceI added the -nobs option, and that speeded things up dramatically, but I still guess I should use the cuda 10 app. |

Hello. I've been running the standard Boinc/Seti app for several months now, and am looking to try the "special" app. It appears that CUDA91/92 would be the best for my system, but all the links I try to download are dead. Does anyone have a copy I could try please? Tried this among many others: http://www.arkayn.us/lunatics/BOINC.7z Thank you in advance. |

I just saw that. Terrible timing for me I suppose. Do you know if the CUDA9x files are hosted elsewhere? Thank you. |

Tbar was the developer and he pulled them from "all known sources". Some folks may have a copy lurking around somewhere and may be prepared to send you a copy. BUT without the support of the developer if anything goes badly wrong then one could end up with a significant problem to overcome..... Thank you for the response. Does anyone have a copy of CUDA9x floating around that they would like to share please? Much appreciated. |

Thank you for the response. Does anyone have a copy of CUDA9x floating around that they would like to share please? I could try uploading to Dropbox. Which version do you want, cuda 91 or cuda92? |

Tbar was the developer and he pulled them from "all known sources". Petri33 is the original developer of the special apps. It is his code that TBar worked with and compiled into easily digestible apps. So as long as Petri33 sticks around, the CUDA9x/10 apps should have support. Thank you JohnDK. If it's not too much trouble, could I bother you for both CUDA 91 and 92 please? I will try both, and see how they go. From the sounds of it, CUDA10 is more for the RTX 2080/2070. I only have a lowly 1060. Thank you again. |

Tbar pulled all his applications a few days ago :-( He said he wanted to go on vacation and I can't imagine him really getting any vacation if his distribution links were still up. So if someone approaches someone in email then an occasional copy might be passed but until Tbar tells someone we can publicly distribute it without any support from him, I guess we wait. Tbar pulled all his applications a few days ago :-( . . FWIW I read a message where he said to treat them like the PBA and regard the apps as "unsupported and untrustworthy" which I take to mean without support or any guarantee from him. In other words, to be used at your own risk. Stephen <shrug> |

Hope he comes back and keeps going! I know it's a ton of work and likely a PITA most of the time, but I/we sure do appreciate his efforts! |

See if it works Thanks again. Have everything set up, and is crunching away around 2 minutes per unit, compared to 15 minutes on the stock version. |

Hey all! Just upgraded my GPU to a GTX1070 Gaming G1 OC 8G. OS is Ubuntu 18.04LTS Nvidia driver 390.77 Open CL1.2. Any suggestions on tweaking it up if possible. Nube at the tweaking bit. Need a primer. Lol "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas Edison |
