This is not the way to make a splash post comeback. Glad you’re still able to post. Take better care of yourself please. And thanks for the update on your warranty service issue (hospitalization). Now do everything to avoid further service issues and keep your motor purring.

Hehehe...........
I guess my moniker of the kittyman has done me well.
I am feeling just a little stronger every day.
I hope that is a good omen of things to come.

Mark Just saw this post about your life changing experience.

Meowser! Please take care of yourself and here's to 8 more lives.

Have not heard from you in a long time... Do you still have any of your kitties?

I am still very much in recovery mode.
And thanks for asking, but the last of my dear kitties passed away in January of '22 at the old age of 20 years and 3 months.

Condolences on the loss of the kitties. They all will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. 20 years and 3 months is an exceptional life for any pet.

Take care of yourself and pop in here as you recover to let us know how you are doing.

Here's something to cheer you up

Yes they were, very much so.
Now I have two Maine Coon plush kitties named Oscar from Amazon to cuddle with when I need to.

Had a post operative checkup with the heart folks.
Adjusted some meds. Some things are not quite right with my EKG, but the doctor said not to panic. They might settle down over time.
And was advised to settle down and give things time to heal instead of going out and mowing my lawn.

One vote for stay. With few exceptions, I have enjoyed your insights and banter. I get posts removed too. I think we all make mistakes.

Did I just respond to an old post? Let me check on Mark. I think I have contact info on him.

I too would say "Please make sure Mark is OK".
In the past he has trotted off for a bit, but has reappeared.

I just called Mark. I have his and several other's contact information. Uli, Angela and I asked for and collected contact info a few years ago. Anyway, He is doing well. He said to say hi but had no particular messages to convey. He is still in recovery mode but getting stronger.
He has no internet at the moment. He said it's been down for over a week.
If anyone wants to send a message I can call him back.

Just a quick message from the kittyman to tell everybody that I am alive and well.

My AT&T DSL internet connection dropped dead on the 27th of November and after hours of phone calls over 3 weeks, it just finally came back up a few hours ago. Still have to sort out why the modem now won't work through my router. (Computer is currently plugged directly into the DSL modem and my Roku is offline.) But at least I was able to get through 3 weeks worth of email and I can pay some bills tomorrow.

Thanks to all who were concerned about me (quite justifiable considering I just had triple bypass open heart surgery a few months ago.)

Special thanks to Carlos who actually gave me a phone call to see if I was all right.

Meow!!
Mark

Glad to hear you are still around and kicking.

As to the issues, being offline that long I'm sure your ISP gave you a new IP address. You may need to update the router so it knows where to go. (That being the usual connection issue.) Of course there is always the paperclip reset button if your box has it.

I got it fixed 1/2 an hour ago.
Patched in a new spare router and it took off running.
I was always big on having spare parts around.

Glad I don't have to deal with ATT again (at least until their next network failure.)
