Meow. Long day. Meow. I would still appreciate any comments, pro or con, about the new haircolor. But now the kittyman must go slumber with Bandit and Purrball. They are beckoning. Meow. Long day. Meow. Looks nice/different to me. But I know what my GF would say. Shave your grey beard! Then you look even younger:) |

Well, snuck in a couple of hours of sleep, anyway. Dr, Who Fan...Thank you. janneseti...probably correct, but I have had the beard so long I would feel naked without it. Chris....I await your analysis....LOL. I know not everybody is gonna think it's the cat's meow. But then, I did not do it to please everybody. You wouldn't want to see it now, after rolling about on it trying to sleep........yikey spikey! But I'll fix that in the morning with a cool water rinse once I get up for the day. My stylist said not to shampoo it for a day so it can set in better. Meow. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

janneseti...probably correct, but I have had the beard so long I would feel naked without it. Now these are my type of folk! :D Mark, I am pleased that your changing hair color gives you so much pleasure. My beard does that for me. I look in the mirror, and feel very good about what I see. To me, it doesn't matter what others think, I just know I am happy with not only what I see in the mirror, but who I am. In Afghanistan, prior to 911, the men were forced to ware beards. Here, we have the freedom to wear them. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Ah ZZ Top! both lads have been offered over $1 million each to shave them off but they refuse :-) Oh meowy wowie........I FINALLY got some solid sleep for the first time in days. A solid 8 hours. Nice. Pain is gone for the moment as well. Even nicer. A million each, eh? I'd shave it for a mere $250,000.00 in no time........LOL. No. Lori has not seen the results yet.......I'm sure she is gonna roll her eyes. And Monday at work shall be interesting as well.............part of the fun for me. And I will like it even better when it gets longer too. I'll wait and post another pic maybe towards the end of the year. It should start to fill in a bit better by then. And for sure, I ain't goin' back to blonde, although I did enjoy that while I had it. Lori will get used to it eventually. And I'm sure she would trade the haircolor for the rut I was in at the drop of a hat if she thought about it that way. So, thanks for the comments. I knew such a big change was not gonna be everybody's cuppa. But, hey....... Due to this and other improving factors in my life, I am smiling a lot more these days. In a lot better place than just a number of short months ago. So maybe the hair thingy is part of becoming a new improved ME. It's working for ME. And that's what it's all about right now. And on another good note............... Had a nice long chat with my younger brother up north this afternoon. We had not talked all year. The reason for that is he stopped returning my calls or calling me whilst I was drinking. He talked to my mother today, who relayed the news of my current well being. So, he then decided to give me a ring. Was a very nice talk. I filled him in on the details of how I came to be in my current state and he was happy to hear the news. Very pleased to be back in his good graces. Meow! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

And, it's a lot nicer being that bouncy little ray of kitty sunshine that I was always meant to be, instead of a loose cannonball........LOL. It does suit me much better. Meow! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

For Ulihon............. And Chris.........I don't think it looks like a wig.............LOL. I am already getting used to seeing it in the mirror. And still liking what I see. Meow. BEFORE AFTER "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

ARG.... Not sure if that is the Mark I know. Thanks for posting the pic. Not the most flattering for Ang and me. Pluto will always be a Planet to me. |

ARG.... Not sure if that is the Mark I know. LOL.......I seem to be getting a lot of that these days. And much of it in a good way, concerning my turn about by dropping the drinking. The hair......well, I was quite prepared to take some guff about that. And prepared to take it gracefully and with a grain of salt. Lori's gonna see it tomorrow. And work on Monday will be filled with surprised faces. Meow! "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

And Chris.........I don't think it looks like a wig.............LOL. Thank you, Chris. The new pic I took this afternoon after I washed and blow dried it the way I usually do. Didn't shampoo it, per my stylist's suggestion that I wait a day first. Still nice and shiny and soft. I was wondering whether I would have to get something to spritz on it so it had the shine I wanted. But it is nice and glossy just the way it ended up. Which I like, because I really didn't want to have to start playing around with it every day with sprays or whatnot so it looked good. Hmmmm. Sleepy thingy not working so good. So I went to the convenience store for coffee and cigs instead. Maybe the coffee will put me to sleep. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |
