More chainsaw action this morning.
They are out there cutting up the remains of those 60yo pine trees that I loved so much.
I shall give them the benefit of the doubt that they simply do not realize just what they have done or taken from me. It is like they are carving ME up.
And..........I am really sorry if some of you do not understand the pain this has caused me.
If you do not, I cannot convey it to you.

I went out and set the 4 small Austrian Pine trees in their pots about where I think they shall be planted. Perhaps by the time that I die, they could be maybe 10 feet tall.

The chainsaw stopped for a few moments.
The lady from next door waved.
They were expecting more of an outburst from me, I think.
No, I am not going to give them one.

I gave her the cold dark stare she deserved and silently went back inside.
Tomorrow the trees get their new homes.
That is all that I am able to do at this point.

Meow.

And I know what some of you are thinking..............................'Get over it.'
But my neighbor's actions also have some real life consequences.
If am correct, the summer sun's arc will take it over where those trees used to be and now will roast my home.
They protected me for all those years.

Here in America, the Elm tree had a much different end point.
I remember one, back when I was 10yo, that grew in my father's yard.
Several hundred feet tall, that one was.

We lost that one, and almost all others in the state due to dutch elm disease, which was spread by beatles boring into the bark and spreading the disease that eventually killed almost all of them.

I can accept the hand of God taking some of his creations away.
The hand of man doing so? Not so much.

The Kungsträdgården Elms died also from elm disease after the protests.
Anyway. Now there are cherry trees there instead.
In a couple of weeks you will see this:)

I actually planted a flowering crabapple tree in my front yard a few years ago.
It should be blooming in a week or two.

You think that I am the only one who cries himself to sleep every night?
I know I am not.
I am just one of the few who are open and candid about doing so.
Most others just cry in the darkness and hope nobody else finds out about it.

I am not that person.
Since the Seti project and these forums first gave me a voice, I have shared much.
Some would say too much.

Not mine to judge. It is yours to judge.
I present the facts and let the cards fall.
I am not shy, at least not here in the forums.
In real life, I could not possibly fathom telling another human being what I tell you here, face to face.
Not even to Lori, who has been my soul mate for some 40 years.
I tell her some things, but most remains buried under my facade.

I have confessed to my alcoholism, my religion, my faith in humankind, and my distrust of anything I cannot taste touch or feel with my own hands.

I have told you about my brother jumping off of the bridge and how close I came to saving him.

This, and all other things, I have shared with you.
And the fact that my cats are the only thing that keeps me alive.
Not you, not Lori, but my cats.

They are what keeps me here, or I would have left long ago.
It is not without a reason that I have cats as my avatar.
Reminder..........what an avatar is........
A guiding light. A symbol of what you may be.
That pic which is my avatar? That was one true moment of happiness in my life.
Four cats, staring out the window at a silly bunny.
They were so intent.
I have two of the four left in my life from that sig pic.
Tigger1 died of CRF, Tigger II died of cancer, and Squirrel passed from old age.
And they all gave me the entirety of their love for ever second they were with me.
What more could I ask?

Misguided Angel, I am.

And in typing the thread title..............I also typed misguided anger.
I suppose that should apply as well.
For my weapons of words are sometimes aimed at those that do not deserve them.

My life has taken such a bad turn as of late.

I do hope that some understand and can relate.

If not, then take the words to heart.

You could make it not so easy.

Here..........ask me to leave.
Your word is my command.

If I get enough votes of lack of confidence, I shall go.
If I get enough votes to ask me to stay, I shall.

I am done wondering if I am welcome here anymore.
I do care just a bit if I am or not.

Meow?

Votes are being taken now.

Since the destruction of trees, I know now that I am bound here by nothing./.
Since nothing is sacred anymore, neither am I.
My life from here on out shall be tossed to the winds.
For as the trees have fallen, so shall I be so..

Nothing more, but certainly nothing less.

Time has come to tell a tale about kings and fishes.
I am but a fish.

Nothing more, but certainly nothing less.
Yes, I did repeat that.

See ya laters, babys.
Much, much laters.

Once again, I am sorry about those trees. That would depress me, too.

Anybody else realize what a significant moment of cinema this was?
It still, years later, brings me tears........of joy.

Yes... that was my favorite episode of the series with both that scene and the scene where she convinces the Unsullied to follow her (I think it was the same episode.) Just amazing. Close second is the last two episodes of season 7 (the last two out currently.) By far the best dramatic TV show I have seen, or I think am likely to.

(Then again I said the same about Breaking Bad until GoT came along.)

I have spoken about my admiration of Breaking Bad as well, you know this.
The two series do not compete on any level.
They are their own distinct and separate gendres.
Their own separate worlds.
I have been watching Thrones for a few weeks now with Lori.
I believe I have seen the first 3 seasons, and await the next with much anticipation.
I also get much joy out of looking up various Bad clips on youtube.
What was written into that show is hard to soak up in just one pass.
