Well, today I was off of work and had a 'spa day'......LOL. Slept in, and then had a mid afternoon appointment to have my hair played with again. At Aleesha Lanay's Salon. I have driven by that place for the 17 years they have been there. But finally decided to stop in. Just literally 5 minutes or less from my home, depending on the one stop and go light between here and there. Not sure they are really used to a lotta guys showing up for beautifying, but they were most excellent in service. Abbey spent and hour and a half of her utmost attention to me, (for which I tipped her generously) and I was very happy when I left. She first trimmed my beard and overgrown locks, and then we talked about what I was looking for in terms of hair color. She brought over the sample books. I chose a rather bright shade of blonde. She asked.....are you sure, this is gonna be very daring for you......... I WAS sure and gave her the go. I said, I am 60yo, I think I am ready for 'daring'. And one of the songs that came on over the radio whilst I was sitting there with the dye on my hair for the hour it takes to set in was..............you had to guess this......Girls just wanna have fun. I was smiling and bopping to it. And she just said, baby........go for it! I am extremely happy with the results. I guess you could call it kinda a 'pixie' look. Nothing on the sides, but something sprouting on the top...........LOL. And as bright a shade of blond as you could imagine. Not bleached white, but blonde. Kinda a surfer dude sorta look. I have already made a maintenance appointment for a month from now. I am gonna keep this look. Meowsmilingblonde. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Way to go Mark:) Here many kids are doing what you are doing. Govan (kid from the block) did the same but only the top of his scull and let the sides be dark. Awsome. |

Way to go Mark:) It really does look nice, as far as I am concerned. And I am the only one who really needs to be concerned about my personal take on my outward appearance. I have not been so happy with my outward appearance for many years. Lost my trademark 'hair down beyond the middle of my back' look back when I was between jobs and had to apply for work to make a living. Yeah, I had what you would call a true redneck hairdo. It is called a 'mullet'. Most people recognize that those who care to wear one are not to be messed with. It served to warn people.........I may be short on top, but I can take you down on the bottom. One look at me turned away many a bad boy with bad intention. That, and my glaring eyes. Which bother people to this day. Something I was born with, I cannot turn them on and off as some people think I do. \ So, my hair was shorn and donated to 'locks of love'. If you do not know, that is a cause that takes donations of hair to enhance the lives of those who have lost their's during cancer chemo. I gave somebody a fine cover..............LOL. I had plenty to offer then, as my hair was a bit thicker and I had worn it down to the middle of my back for a long time. I cried when they cut it off, but I knew it that was the end of that look. I shall not let the moment get the better of me, nor the mods involved. You may consider this addressed to you, in whatever form you deal with it. Some behind the scenes banter was involved. I am responding only, not instigating.- In vino, das veritas. And do pardon me if the quote is not quite exact. Meow again. Yeah, I had what you would call a true redneck hairdo. It is called a 'mullet'. Well, here back in the states, it goes way back. Back to some old southern boys that would not give in to the yankees when they took over. I think it was a show of companionship and faith in each other. It has never quite never gone away, as some other southern fashions and thoughts have not. Mine included..................I shall always be a redneck boy. If that galls you, I can certainly live with it. If it does not, well then, come aboard, son. Meow? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Those that love me, love me as I am, and take me as I am. Those that hate me will forever do so. I am the voice that stand up for a few little corners of the world that cannot do so for themselves. Mine is the corner of the world where I can say whatever I choose,. You would do well not to try to diminish me. It is your fight against mine. I shall win. Just pull up a chair. Hehe:) Well, I am getting quite annoyed at folks calling me out with no guns under their belts. What some folks do not realize is that I am getting ready for the last knap. The one with no kitties involved, only the Lord above. I quit posting a week ago, and nobody noticed. For one week, one of the most verbose men on the planet said not a word. And nobody blinked. Not one word. Not single blink. I must go then, without a pat on the back. But,I have been the kittyman. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I would give up my life for to see some life on other planets or greater understanding of God on this, ours. Oh, wait.................... I already have, have'nt I? I have given up all my hopes and dreams of easy retirement for the years and funds I have spent upon this simple quest. It is all gone, I cannot trade my credits back in for them. And yet, I am not sorry. Not one bit. I took the road less traveled. And it has cost me a lot. Money, friends, my love of my life. And I would take the same turn tomorrow, my friends, if given the choice. It was a choice, not a tragedy. It just turned out that way. It was my choice. Had it been all laid out for me, in a simple equation, years ago? I would have been a fool to have taken the choices and path I have. But it was not. I was taken upon a journey, which I accepted to go upon. And I am not truly sorry that I have. Yes, it has cost me a fortune. And one I have gladly paid. For something I shall never see, but perhaps the children I never had may see one day. That is my hopes, and wishes, and dreams. May not be yours, but they are mine. I hope that one day the foundation I have laid here may one day give mankind a greater understanding of where and how and perhaps even why we were all placed here to ponder the questions that we now do. And that my simple existence may not have gone for nought. A simple kitten cries. That would be me. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I quit posting a week ago, and nobody noticed Then I shall go again into my clouded different world and not return for another kitty while. See ya then, if ever. Ya never know what days the Lord above shall grant. I share those that he gives me at times, and when they run out, well. Nice to know you were given some respite from me. It may be a longer time now. Good bye for meow. Was nice to have known ya. May we meet again some day............................................................................................................... I have descended. But, on my way, I found this. More old stars than you can count. Watch just who is who on the stage. This is just one of many moment that shall be lost to you when I leave the stage. Sorry, but nobody else will dredge up these old moments to remind you of where the moments you live in now came from. Just doin' the That wild thang. Turn up the bass, man. I gets no money for doing MY wild thang. And I do luv true light brown sugar. Those are the finest women on the planet./ Tasted one about 40 years ago. I did toast them wild oats. Those without attitude are some of the finest women in the world. So fine, and they know it. The greatest band in the world wrote a song about them. Brown Sugar. And I do not appreciate the 'White boy' response to it. Not at all. Now you know where I stand. Meowthang.
