President Donald Trump appears to have little regard for science.

President Trump has stated that he thinks global climate change is a hoax. It is not.
He has stated that vaccines cause autism. They do not.
He has stated that US healthcare workers infected with Ebola should not be let back into the country to be treated. Thank goodness he wasn't president last year.
He has stated that he does not think that public health spending returns a good investment. Smoking cessation education, drunk driving laws, vaccination programs and water fluoridation all indicate otherwise.

Eric and I are planning to participate in the March For Science taking place on April 22nd in Washington DC

If others are planning to attend, please post here or drop me a pm. Perhaps we can march together, or at least meet for coffee?

If you cannot go to Washington DC, but still want to participate in this public demonstration, look for a local march in your area. I know there are several planned in the SF Bay Area and there is probably one near you.

Good luck on the march. Most know that mathematics is one science that is the foundation of most of everything we take for granted in life, until the politicians corrupted it by turning it into a numbers game :-)

I really wish Tyson and Seth Macfarlane would get back together and do some more episodes of their reboot of Sagan's Cosmos. They did a terrific job with it.

And as far as Mr. Nye, he's returning to 'TV' via Netflix, with a talk-show-ish formatted series called "Bill Nye Saves The World", where he will have special guests and conduct experiments. Available April 21st on Netflix.
