Am down on GPU tasks on one system ... not too much though. Could be there just isn't any GPU tasks available and the SETI messages are correct in the log that the servers have no work for me. 604,000 ready to go. There are a few Arecibo VLARs in the mix, but not many. I had to change my Application settings for the first time since the last weekly outage to keep getting work this morning. No problems since. Server Status page now shows the Assimilators as running, but the numbers aren't changing- up or down. Hopefully the Assimilators are actually running, and it's just the reporting that's on the fritz. Grant Darwin NT |

And yet............. Is there every even a 'server problem' on this project? I have been here for a long while. Seen them come and go. And yet, the project still continues. Yes, there have been times that I wish the project had more work for me to do. But, if they did not, the kitties were always at the ready to pick up where we left off. As I have quoted the project before, Seti never promised a never ending supply of work for us to do. We have been blessed with a more than abundant supply for most of the years that I have been here. And for various reasons, at times, not. This, in my view at least, is the greatest opportunity for scientific advancement running in the Boinc community at this time. Others may have a different view, as I understand there are many other project available. Not my gig, but I do not wish to dissuade others from chasing their own dreams. I do know what mine are, and they are here, beckoning to me. May your own hopes and wishes and dreams take you where you wish to be. And may I personally thank you for whatever time you may have devoted to MY own hopes and wishes and certainly dreams. Meow, my friends, we are NOT alone. Not ever. Whether that belief lies in alien worlds or in God above, not mine to say. But I can assure you, we are not alone in this life of ours. If nothing else, we, LOL, have cats. Meow, my friends. Mark. Umm, could someone hang a tape on Beta, so that some WU's could flow? There's been none for three days, now... Or did I miss something? . Hello, from Albany, CA!... |

Yes, me too. I don't know whether there is nothing but VLAR being split now and they aren't getting sent to my Nvidia's or what. I can't seem to nudge the servers into sending me any work with the standard Preferences Update or flip-flip. Yes, me too. I don't know whether there is nothing but VLAR being split now and they aren't getting sent to my Nvidia's or what. Same here. There are a few Scheduler errors (couldn't connect to server) in my log, but mostly it's "Project has no tasks available", even though there are over 600,000 ready-to-send. EDIT- Just scored some work on both systems. Interestingly there wasn't 1 GBT WU amongst it. And what was left of the caches was almost all Acrecibo as well. Grant Darwin NT |

Yes, me too. I don't know whether there is nothing but VLAR being split now and they aren't getting sent to my Nvidia's or what. . . But it looks like there IS GBT work there. I am still getting GBT here, and a fair bit of it. Stephen ? |

. . But it looks like there IS GBT work there. I am still getting GBT here, and a fair bit of it. I've gotten a few GBT WUs, but that's all. Would be less than 2% on one system, less than 5% on the other. Grant Darwin NT |

. . But it looks like there IS GBT work there. I am still getting GBT here, and a fair bit of it. . . Probably something like 20% of all tasks here on two machines, less so on the third but lots and lots of Arecibo VLARs on that machine. Stephen |

You're lucky. Here for the past 15 minutes or so, the site is here, next minute get "This page can't be displayed". Closing the window & opening a new one, takes ages. So far it's gone down several times on me. It's as bad as that storm front from "the Final Countdown" Since day one of "this" new format, there has been nothing but issues, surely that has been noticed? If so, why has nothing been done about it? Too afraid of "losing face"? |

Forums are loading quickly, Replica has finally caught up (again), Assimilators have cleared the back log, Result & WU purge have finally caught up. We've finally recovered from last weeks outage, just in time for this weeks. Hopefully things will be a bit smoother this time around. Grant Darwin NT |

Everybody that's claiming that there 620,000+ WU available: don't you see that those figures are 28 (when this is posted) hours old? Staff: a) Do something about the "Server Status" page being over a day out of date! b) give the splitters a kick in the rear... PANIC MODE: ACTIVATE! . Hello, from Albany, CA!... |
