Hello, there will be a 5-day-long challenge (A), already 15 teams signed up. I: WU availability: Can the SETI admins please check if there will be enough WUs available for the challenge time ? II. BOINC users: please participate - 1. tell your teamfounder to join the challenge on boincstats - 2. the users just have to crunch the WUs in that time period. nothing more Erkan (A) https://boincstats.com/en/stats/challenge/team/chat/890 |

We're coming out of some kindof 'funk' that I'd argue no-one completely understands. Can you postpone for a week ? "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. We're coming out of some kindof 'funk' that I'd argue no-one completely understands. Yeah, well I was trying to be nice. "Living by the wisdom of computer science doesn't sound so bad after all. I'd at least wait until the GBT work comes back online to be sure that there is plenty of work available. Cheers. |

Chris - There were some VERY long "server down for maintenance" delays. Two of mine picked up two day delays! I would be very wary about running a challenge that will really give the servers a trashing just now as it would probably cause them to go into melt-down and be totally counter productive. Freudian slip: I changed "SETI.USA's 12th birthday" to what we see now The title's wrong matey and why the Fu#k do "we" want to celebrate a team being 12 years old ( so what ) are you just wanting to " hammer the sh#t " out of the servers till you break em completly ? or don't you care ??? You're running a " challenge " every week , what's wrong with waiting for the " WOW" ?? Life is what you make of it :-) When i'm good i'm very good , but when i'm bad i'm shi#eloads better ;-) In't I " buttercups " p.m.s.l at authoritie !!;-) |
