Video shows Ohio officers pepper-spraying a person in a restraint chair — again

The moment Charles Wade realized he was about to be strapped into a restraint chair, he later recalled, he was filled with terror.

He was about to be booked in October inside the Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, Ohio, the same place a woman named Amber Swink had been pepper-sprayed inside a seven-point harness the year before.

But you don't understand, he had to be punished, the blue code demands it, because justice simply won't mete out the necessary punishment, we need more violence so we teach that maximum violence is the path.

He was about to be booked in October inside the Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, Ohio, the same place a woman named Amber Swink had been pepper-sprayed inside a seven-point harness the year before.

Despite Wade's racially bigoted rant against the Officers, his refusal to follow reasonable instructions, and his slamming his head repeatedly:

There came a point during this 'confrontation'. Where the Officer's actions could not be condoned, and may possibly be criminal.

And yes... I did arrest Police Officers, during one of my many 'interesting' jobs. In a very varied and 'interesting' lifetime.

Convicted
http://mynewsla.com/crime/2017/03/15/guilty-ex-la-county-sheriff-baca-convicted-of-corruption-charges/
Ex-Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca was convicted Wednesday of obstruction of justice and two other federal charges for orchestrating a scheme to thwart an FBI investigation into inmate mistreatment in the jails he ran and of lying to the bureau.

Jurors reached the verdict Wednesday afternoon, in their second full day of deliberations in Baca’s retrial. The eight-man, four-woman jury got the case Monday afternoon after hearing nine days of testimony involving more than a dozen witnesses.

Baca showed no emotion as he was convicted of all three counts with which he was charged — obstruction of justice, conspiracy to obstruct justice and making false statements to the FBI. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison, according to prosecutors.

The jury foreman told reporters that Baca broke the law “to protect his empire.”

Mark...

Let's see what Nature, or Natures God had in store for my 'Full' and 'Interesting' life.

#1 - Grew Up as a Street Kid in Brooklyn, New York City. Including 'beating down' by Police.

#2 - Only finished High School, because I was the Starting Shortstop (American BaseBall) for two years. And couldn't remain on the Team, if I didn't 'Show Up' for school everyday, and (more importantly) didn't cause 'trouble'.

#3- Vietnam

#4 - NYPD Uniform 'Street Cop' for 10 Years. Promoted and assigned to Internal Affairs. Investigating, and many times arresting Corrupt and Brutal Officers. This included working closely with the FBI and other Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, regarding matters of 'Mutual Interest'.

During these years. Obtained a Graduate Degree and, more importantly, meet my wife, a respected PhD. Who had nothing to do [sic] with my next 'Interesting' job.

#5 - Taught various aspects of History and Human Cultures. Survived and prospered in that Illiberal Environment.

#6 - Now, in the later stages of my life. Assisting, and attending to the needs of our Disabled Veterans.

Sorry if you guys and gals have no understanding of the Universe of Experiences. A person may have beyond your, possibly narrow, life experiences.

Note: I am enjoying your need to personally attack, sometimes using childish 'curse words'. When shown the total error of your beliefs.

Guessing you have nothing left to contribute to these discussions.

Wow. You just hit the nail on the head. But they won't understand what you're trying to say.

I've met many people who think if you haven't lived their life experiences, you must be stupid and they are, therefore, superior.

Liberals think that they are FIRST superior to others, and second, your life experiences do not matter--because only their life experience matters.

And they'll fight and scream and cry to get their way.... and when the world collapses around them, they'll report the news in the most positive way, giving themselves thanks, even though everyone who reads the news knows better.

I'm surprised they don't bow and pray to George Orwell and his books on the subject of their utopia.

Yeah, where you put everyone you want to hit a ball hard at. Did you duck as often as you duck questions now? :-) :-) What happened? Not enough left-handed batters to give you a break? Made it "their fault" somehow? :-) :-)

#5 - Taught various aspects of History and Human Cultures. Survived and prospered in that Illiberal Environment.

Nah - just don't believe it. Deepened your hatred for the left and now it's in almost every half sentence :-) :-)

#6 - Now, in the later stages of my life. Assisting, and attending to the needs of our Disabled Veterans.

How do you find the time between carpet-bombing these threads? :-) :-) What do you do?

the Universe of Experiences.

ROFLMAO!! Never heard having your head high up in your own ass described like that :-) :-)

Understand the reaction at SRB* when Baca was convicted was - he had it coming. Of course those are the civilian employees.

Anyone want to guess how long he is going to get? Remember he took the trial because the judge so no to his extra-short plea bargain recommendation!

Negative. American Baseball, not American Football.

Liked the Ed O'Neill character. He was just as silly and stupid, as those attacking him.

Ed O'Neill plays a similar character, but with more depth, in a popular American TV Show - Modern Family

The union that represents sheriff's deputies said on Twitter that "although the outcome is painful to accept, we must give it due regard."
Love that loaded language. You know that union thinks he is as innocent as pure snow.

I thought you Yanks have a charge on the books "Perverting the course of justice"?

It seems even coppers will do anything for the "almighty $".

"Thereafter, Mr Staley asked the internal investigators to identify the author of the first letter.
They then got in touch with and were helped by an, unnamed, US law enforcement agency. That attempt to find out the identity of the letter writer also failed."

Aw, that don't matter, it's just an ally.

You've paid for a plane seat and then you get assaulted and dragged off.

One officer involved has been stood down, but what about the other pair?

No cheers here.

From the BBC:
"Whatever happened on the flight - and the details will undoubtedly emerge in the coming days - it was a bad day for United, Mr Leocha said. The airline had only recently been at the centre of another controversy, when a fortnight ago it refused to let two girls board because they were wearing leggings.

"This isn't really a lesson for passengers it's a lesson for airlines," he said. "The only lesson here for passengers is when security get on throw up your hands, because otherwise you're going down the aisle with a fat lip." "

Put a uniform on some people & their brain cells decrease by 95%.

The foundation of Sirius B argument, IE: All/Most are.... Is totally silly.

The thousands of daily life threatening situations, or the above reference, with 'a couple' every week causing extreme concern. Proves what I have always said. But Sirius B doesn't yet understand.

All humans are with sin. a few in all groups, are evil. But only the silly, or stupid, or ignorant, or bigoted. Paint all/most with a broad and negative brush.
