Re-reading (after several years) Stanislaw Lem's "Solaris" (this part didn't make it the 1st time due to the site going down for maintenance at the time I originally posted), then I'll be re-reading his "Tales of Pyrx the Pilot". Already read all of the of the "Wingman" series by Mack Maloney. Prior to that, I was reading the last book (#16 I think, of 23 total) of Mike Shepherd's "Kris Longknife" series.
All in e-Book format (Kindle 5th Generation reader - an older model with no backlight, so the battery lasts a lot longer and no touchscreen)

Also read all 27 books (so far) in Ryk Brown's "Frontiers Saga" series (2 parts so far, of 5 parts planned, with 15 books in each part).

Err, make that 24 books (Parts 1 & 2) in the "Frontiers Saga" series - 25th should be coming out sometime this month.

The latest "Honorverse" (aka: Honor Universe) book from David Weber.

Unlike the last book, this book actually moves the plot forward. Won't post any spoilers though.

Something different to keep your unused brain cells active.
THE RIDDLER Fantastic Puzzles from FiveThirtyEight

You will also find two puzzles about pizza, without which no puzzle book is complete.

I'm just about to start Julian May's last volume in her series, "Magnificat".

Cheers.

Sounds interesting, but where do you start.
Do you just read this trilogy, or include "Intervention" the preceding novel.
Or maybe read the "Saga of the Exiles" first, then "Intervention" to bridge to "The Galactic Milieu Trilogy"

As a change from thrillers, just started Hue: a turning point.... by Mark Bowden https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0716QHDLM/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1
Fascinating but ultimately depressing story of one of the most expensive wars ever. The cause was to fight communism but in 1965, Robert McNamara realises that the war is unwinnable. Gets fired by LBJ for being soft.
This book details the turning point after which, as commentators on Quora for example have said, it was lost in the living rooms in America.

by RAH?

Yeah, by Robert A Heinlein.

To get anywhere, or even live a long time, a man has to guess, and guess right, over and over again, without enough data for a logical answer.

A "critic" is a man who creates nothing ...

When any government, or church for that matter, undertakes to say to it's subjects, this you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motive.
